Welcome to our house: a warm, elegant but cozy and lightful penthouse. The neighborhood area is Sant'Ambrogio one of the most genuine of all Florence.
The Guests' room is totally the flagship of our apartment: it's roomy and bright and it has a small balcony where you can enjoy the magnificent view over the roofs of Florence an the bell tower of Santa Croce Cathedral.
The wooden furniture is antique and precious as the french dormeause of the early nineteenth century and the the bookcases are from the historic Biblioteca Nazionale.
The room has everything it needs: a double bed, a single bed that can be used a sofa, a useful cabinet, heating and air conditioning.
You also have a private balcony with a nice view, very pleasant to drink a cup of tea that we'll offer to our guest.
We ensure to provide sheets and towels.
The kitchen, warm and quiet, has a splendid view over the roofs and in particular on the Brunelleschi Dome. The kitchenette is full optional: tableware, flatware, microwave oven, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher.
The bathroom, which is to be shared,is in the late seventies style,is essential and practical, and it has a hair dryer, bath tub with the shower and a bidet.
Interaction with guests
Often the key are left in a shop of the area.
I'm very reactive to sms.
Other things to note
Delio and Valentina (a biologist and nutritionist very careful at hygiene) aren't the only inhabitant of this house, there are also Giacinto and Leonida: two lovely black and white european cats!
Please be advised that if you don't close the door the old and quite puffy Giacinto will try to sleep in your room because it loves it.
Please let us know at what time you need the kitchen in order to leave you cooking peacefully.

I'm Delio Bartolucci and I'm glad to share my appartment with guests from all over the world, my 2 sweet cats and from September an Amstaff puppy, our new permanent guest.
Me and my girlfriend have no children.
I'm one of the first air bnb starter in my town, from 2013, and in these years I saw the spirit of many guests and hosts twisting and spinning in business.
Most of the owners of apartments moved in periphery buying small cheap houses in center in order to rent them to tourist and surviving to crisis or creating a job for themselves.
As well as many guests, who choose this solution just to save money.
The result is a frenetic marketing that empties the historical city and a quick and ruff tourism. I dislike it.
So, if you aren't in the mood to share a house of a young family with its rules and the necessary respect expected, I'm sure you will find an ikea house in a dark basement for the half of the price. Go there and skip me.
Otherwise, if you will communicate your needs in a gentle way, respecting the common places as bathroom and kitchen and keeping them clean as you found, you will have a good experience in my warm and cozy house.
Be sure you have read the rules, be kind with my animals and be ready to afford the steps cause we don't have elevator.
Thank you for your attention and welcome in one of the most beautiful city of the world!
