In the heart of Philadelphia, my apartment is easy walking distance to shopping, parks, museums, restaurants, and more. It comfortably fits two, and has a private outdoor space, a full kitchen, and two separate levels. Enjoy hardwood floors, high ceilings, and the charm of a Philly row home.
The lower level is a bedroom with a queen size bed, an exposed brick wall, a flat screen TV, a desk, and so forth.
The main floor includes the kitchen, an eating area, the bathroom, another TV, and a comfortable couch (that I've fallen asleep on several times). There is a spiral staircase leading down into the bedroom, so you'll need to be careful carrying your suitcase down.
There's also a private outdoor space - perfect for dinner, coffee, or just relaxing. And, if additional people are staying I have a twin air mattress.
There is a coin-operated washer and dryer in the basement, a dishwasher in the apartment, cable TV, and wireless internet.
Interaction with guests
I will be renting the apartment while I am away, so guests will have the entire place to themselves. I'll be sure to leave you with clean sheets, towels, and so forth.
Depending on arrival times, I'll either greet you and provide the key or have one of my close friends meet you.
Other things to note
I live in a row home, which has the character and charm of an older building. I love it, but be aware that it has some quirks that you might not find in a modern condo, such as a funny old sink in the bathroom and limited closet space.
No smoking in the apartment please.
