The space

Located in the 1st arrondissement, just across the Louvre garden and the Tuileries and within a block from prestigious Place Vendome and Place de la Concorde, this luxury 3 bedroom apartment, fully renovated with high quality furniture, offers to its guests a sophisticated blend of traditional luxurious Parisian style with contemporary style.

The apartment offer extremely rare volume and space in Paris with high ceiling of nearly 5 meters height (16.40ft) with original classified painted walls from the 18th century. With its very tall and large French windows, the apartment is bright, quiet and peaceful. It is offering double exposure, on one side with the living room, kitchen and its dining area which face the courtyard and on the other side, the 3 large bedrooms which face a small quiet street. Note that there is no view of the Tuileries garden from the apartment. Each bedroom has 2 double glazed windows. This luxury Paris apartment make it an ideal place for vacation or corporate stay.

As you as you walk in the apartment, located on the second French floor with elevator, you enter in a large apartment reception that leads you to the living room. The living room has high quality furniture, with two large sofas that can sit up to 8 guests. It has a flat TV screen with cable box with international channels available. It has a 3 large windows facing the courtyard, beautiful marble fireplace, original painting from the 18th century, Hungarian point wooden floor design, and beautiful moulding ceiling design.

The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with dishwasher, stove, microwave, fridge and freezer. A dining area is just by the kitchen. A convenient small laundry area is in between the living room and kitchen which offer a separated high quality washing machine and dryer.

In between bedroom 1 and bedroom 2, a corridor with a separated toilet with sink as well as lot of storage room link the living room to the kitchen as well as bedroom 1 & 2.

The first bedroom has a queen size bed that can be splitted into 2 single beds (on request at booking time), a flat TV screen with local channels only, a large dressing area with 4 integrated wardrobe, a large window and an ensuite bathroom with double sink, shower cabin and bathtub.

The second bedroom has a queen size bed, with a flat TV screen with local channels only, 2 large windows, 2 large wardrobes and an ensuite bathroom with double sink and bathtub with shower head fixed on the wall.

The third bedroom and master bedroom is located apart from the 2 other bedrooms. Located by the entrance of the apartment, it is the largest bedroom, with a queen size bed, 2 large windows, an ensuite shower cabin with sink, a separated toilet just outside the bedroom’s door, and beautiful 18th century painting.

This apartment looks exactly as the pictures portray. It is roomy with gret seating in the living room and comfortable beds. The temperature was in the mid 80's and with no air conditioning it was a bit warm. We had fans in the bedrooms which helped. With windows open the street noise was quite loud until 2 in the morning. Location cannot be beat as there are shops, restaurants, market, patisseries near by. Hosts were great to work with and we will definitely travel with airbnb from now on! The location of the apartment is perfect for seeing the monuments , being near great shopping and restaurants. We loved the sitting room with the gorgeous high ceilings and the spacious bedrooms.

This is a perfect place to stay especially if it's your first visit to Paris. Everything is organized perfectly for any detail you will need including concierge service. From maps, sim cards, restaurant recommendations, museum tickets and more. There was great communication prior to arrival and we were met by a smiling face and a helpful attitude.

Everything exactly as described and offered. This 2nd floor apartment is in very good condition, feels like brand new. Cozy place, we felt like at home instantly. Rue de Rivoli is busy and truly noisy. But that’s not a problem as double windows absorb literally all the noise. No HVAC, might be a problem in July/August. Bedrooms are facing a cross street, the other rooms a courtyard which is ok but as always not particularly nice to look at. Enough light is coming in. The Problem was, and that’s the reason for our 4/5 stars: massive construction undertaken at the moment (end of October both on 4th and ground floor) through the courtyard. Continuous and strong impact by noise during daytime on all weekdays. You want to check that these works are completed before booking. We instantly got a refund equal to 9% of the total paid to airbnb (we stayed 8 nights including 5 noisy working days). That’s appreciated and a nice gesture but far away from an adequate compensation. Then the ongoing dialogue stopped abruptly. Check-In/Check-Out was handled by Greeters and was absolutely smooth. Wifi offers decent bandwidth. Without construction works: happy to return.
