My place is located on Secret Passage Ranch, close to the George Washington National Forest. Strasburg and Front Royal are about 20 minutes in either direction. You’ll love my place because it's nestled right in between the mountains providing spectacular views that will take your breath away while filling you with peace and beauty. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers.

The space

The guest house was built in the late 1700's, so you feel like you've been transported to a simpler time. Since we are located right in the Shenandoah Valley, the lush mountains are on either side of our property, offering captivating views of the leaves in the fall and the sunrises and sunsets.

Guest access

You will have access to the kitchen, living room, and the front and back porches. Feel free to venture on down to the creek down the road, or come say hi to the horses in the fields!

Interaction with guests

If I'm not at the guest house during your stay, we have a stable hand, Bill, that stays in the house to offer any accommodations, but we mostly stay up at the barn. Don Warlick is the owner, and is always happy to help, as well. We like to give our guests their own space at the guest house, but we always welcome interactions!

Other things to note

Since we are located on a horse ranch, we offer trail rides at any time of the day starting at $35/hour per person! Let us know if you are interested and we will get the horses ready for you!

Very nice bedroom/bathroom in a very rustic setting. Get a complete verbal set of directions to the ranch's actual location, as (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps a bit vague. Hostess quite quick in responding to requested reservation modification. Beautiful rural Virginia farm valley location.

Great place to use for a home base to check out Shenandoah national park and wine country! The friendly host and cozy farm style house was the cherry on top to a wonderful weekend!

Natalie was a wonderful host. She made us feel very welcome. The scenery was amazing. We planned our trip in July which was very hot. The house was quite warm so Natalie suggested we spend time down at the creek. It was one of the highlights of our trip.
