This duplex is close to restaurants and shopping, family-friendly activities, and nightlife. You’ll love the proximity to downtown and short drive to the freeway and ski resorts. Couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids) are welcome.
This is a wonderful old duplex in the heart of Salt Lake City.
We have a living room, dining room, full kitchen with kitchen nook, one bathroom and three bedrooms. We are also located within walking distance of great shopping (Trolley Square and 9th & 9th district), restaurants, coffee shops, a beautiful park and public transportation.
Along with the charm come some quirky spaces.
We have three bedrooms upstairs, one is accessible only by walking through the other. There is one bathroom and it is downstairs, just off the kitchen. So just be aware you will be trekking up and down a long staircase from bedrooms to bathroom.
The stairs are wall to wall with the duplex neighbors so don't be alarmed if you hear footsteps in the night. :)
We do have a portable dishwasher in the kitchen which means if you want to wash dishes in the dishwasher you get to hook it up to the kitchen faucet. It works great. Or just wash them by hand.
We live close by, so we are available if you need anything.
You will have the entire apartment to yourself. Just be aware you have neighbors living in the other half of the house so this is not a party house. We also have wonderful neighbors sharing our backyard/driveway area. Being in an historical part of town, the houses are very close so just be respectful of late night arrival or departure.
Interaction with guests
We live just a few blocks away and are available for your needs but this is your space to enjoy for your stay.
- This is a duplex with renters next door and close neighbors. This is not a party house and quiet hours are 9pm - 8am. There is a shared driveway with our neighbors so park only in the designated parking spot in back or on the street. No smoking and no pets are allowed.

My husband and I are Utah natives and love the beautiful geography of our state - mountains for skiing, hiking, biking and red rock country with 5 national parks and 40 state parks. We are huge music fans and go to concerts frequently. We also love to travel and look forward to exploring places using Airbnb more often.
