The space
You choose one of the villas Frangipani or Hibiscus, with a size of 36sqm, including breakfast, directly on the sea with air conditioning, private entrance. Your bright room has its own veranda with seating and direct sea views. private bathroom with hot shower with good water pressure and toilet. Soap, shampoo, towels, hot water. Large lockable cabinet with mirror, desk with chair and of course free fast wifi.

Use the open community area to meet new people. For simple snacks you have the possibility to use a small kitchen with refrigerator. Although it is safe, there is still a night-time security for a better feeling. We offer a friendly service and help to enrich your stay in an unobtrusive way. If you need something we are there for you. You can on request new towels, hair dryer, etc. from us.

Other things to note
The airport transportation can be arranged by us. Please write us in this regard before your arrival, we pick you up at the airport with name tag. It's a 3-hour drive that passes through some of Bali's most beautiful spots. You could ask the driver to make a short stop in Ubud, Bali's cultural capital, to visit Monkey Forrest or a Balinese market. You drive over the Kintamani mountain and from there you can take pictures of the Batur Lake. The drive passes the most beautiful rice fields and flowers or fruit growing areas and traditional Balinese villages. You will also enjoy a breathtaking view over the pristine north of Bali towards the sea. So you can combine the arrival with a wonderful tour for the same price.

Travel time: 3 hours, Price: 750,000 with a new spacious Toyota Ray with air conditioning - 3 people with plenty of luggage possible, or up to 5 people with little luggage / backpack.

Right next to our garden is a paved footpath, where you can walk east along the sea, past the traditional salt production under coconut palms and picturesque fishing villages with colorful boats. In the village "Les" you can reach everything on foot. The winding village streets are paved and shaded by fruit trees and ornamental plants. To experience the beautiful waterfall and to bathe there, we can rent bicycles for 25,000 IDR / day, for 50,000 IDR / day a moped, a Yamaha NMAC for 100,000 IDR / day (gas: 8,000 IDR p / L). Distance to the waterfall on foot about 1.5 hours. Or you could rent an ojek (motorbike with driver) that can drive you around Les in the neighboring villages for a negotiable, competitive price.

There is free drinking water and a simple Balinese breakfast with fresh fruits, coffee or tea. For example: sticky rice with coconut flakes and palm sugar in the banana leaf, rice porridge, roasted bananas, black sticky rice with coconut flakes or alternatively toast bread with jam with fresh fruits, coffee or tea. Real Italian cappuccino or coffee latte, as well as other dishes such as omelet, eggs dishes etc. available at extra cost.

Our villas are far enough away from the main road, but within walking distance, it is quiet and untouched. When they are early birds, they can experience the sunrise and watch the fishermen go ashore. The locals are friendly and personable and open to conversation. The community area often hosts social projects where children from the village can learn and experience English. It is a place where people can meet and get to know each other.

We offer you a free secure parking space for your car if you wish to arrive by yourself. Also, we can organize tours for you from here to the next places or drive out directly from us for fishing, snorkeling, watching dolphins or experiencing a romantic sunrise in a traditional fishing boat.

Package 5: Tulamben & Amed & Waterpalace Tirta Gangga Tour: Tulamben is a small fishing village on the northeast coast of Bali. It is one of the most popular dive sites in Bali since the wreck of the Liberty, a US Army transport ship that was torpedoed in 1942 by a Japanese submarine. Amed is a small romantic fishing village in the east of the island of Bali in the Karangasem region. Long drawn, it lies directly on the beach, along several smaller bays. The houses of the village line up on a romantic coastal road, which offers new breathtaking views over the deep blue sea after every bend. Fine white and dark sandy beaches and especially intact reefs off the coast make the place interesting for divers and snorkelers as well as for bathers. The surf is not too high for swimming, even families with children have their fun here. For snorkeling or diving (please bring your own equipment, without dive guide). The accommodation is located in the village: Les Village, in a beautiful coastal area that is still untouched by mass tourism in Bali. To relax and unwind simply fantastic, for photo enthusiasts here is every moment to experience such original life, a sensation. Les has a forest sanctuary that leads up the mountain and you can hike to see caves, waterfalls, Hindu temples or birds. Or experience the incredibly beautiful sunrise by the sea, which is as calm as a lake. Go fishing for deep-sea fishing or fishing on the shore. See how salt is traditionally made or how coconuts, mangoes and rambutans are grown. Explore the morning village market. Learn about the medicinal plants that grow here and visit the many beautiful temples. A few miles away is the sunken USS Liberty - a beautiful artificial reef that invites you to dive.

Our village "Les" is located in the middle of the north coast of Bali and it is a good base from which to explore many of Bali's most famous dive sites. There is the wreckage of Tulamben 45 minutes east. The coral reefs of Amed are an hour away. Candidasa is an hour and a half drive. Padang Bai is 2 hours drive away. Driving west from Les brings you within an hour to Lovina, within 2 hours to Pemuteran with the Biorock Coral Project and within 3 hours to West Bali National Park and its famous Menjangan Island diving and snorkeling sites. There are mini markets nearby - 7-11 as well as small shops - which are open all day. Shopping centers are located in Singaraja City, 45 minutes by car or motorcycle.

During your stay
Relax in the beautiful garden under Frangipani trees, or in the covered pavilion on the relaxation sofas with sea views. There are always comfortable sun loungers in the garden. If you want time and peace, our villa is ideal. You can also book a Balinese massage in your room.

You have access to a small kitchen with a fridge that the other guests use, a gazebo for relaxing, the open covered communal area, the garden, the restaurant. The sea-view restaurant seats 35 and is open from 7am to 9pm.
For guests there is the possibility of lunch and dinner for a special price. There are traditional Balinese dishes with ingredients from the garden or the market, freshly caught fish, but also small dishes, soups or desserts. For vegetarians or vegans, there are many different delicious dishes. We pay attention to healthy food and cook without MSG and use only fresh ingredients. Seasoned with herbs from the garden as well as our own precious sea salt from our traditional sea salt production in front of our house.
This wonderful healthy sea salt is also there for you to take home, packaged in a beautiful gift bag with 150 grams, for a donation of: 25,000 IDR.
Fresh coconuts for drinking are a healthy alternative to sugary soft drinks.
However, we have all kinds of drinks in a fridge, where every guest can serve himself.
Made there is the opportunity to learn Balinese dishes in a 2-hour cooking class, before the village morning market can be visited with her at 6 o'clock to buy the ingredients.

Your hosts, Gede and Made, grew up in Bali, so they know a lot about Bali and have very good English skills. We have a dog and 2 cats that are very friendly, even to children.
