We love living in the Cockermouth area, for its amazing scenery, great walking and cycling, and for the town itself with a multitude of independent shops and restaurants. Our house is situated in a quiet residential area and is south facing with mountain views down the Buttermere valley. It’s a pleasant 10 minute walk from the house to the town centre passing Cockermouth Castle and an art gallery.
We think it’s perfect for holiday makers, travellers, adventurers, and those on business.
Our house is bright, light and airy with a spacious sitting room and an open plan kitchen and dining area. From the kitchen there is internal access to the garage and access to the rear garden. There is also a toilet situated on the ground floor.
The first floor has two double bedrooms and a single room available and a family bathroom.
Guests have access to the entire house including use of the garage and private rear garden.

We love living in Cockermouth. It's a great place to bring up a family, and we've both lived here for over 25 years now.
Whether you like walking, biking, kayaking or wild swimming, or visiting cafes and browsing shops, the area is fantastic and difficult to beat.
When we get time we love taking a picnic onto one of our lesser known and quieter fells, and then down for a drink in one of our great country pubs.
There are plenty of festivals and events going on through the year, based on food, music and even wool (Woolfest)!
