You’ll love my place because of Big Game Camp - Yala is located on the border of Yala National Park, within a 20-minute drive to the entrances. For visitors' full satisfaction and comfort, all the tents are spacious, and come with raised beds, comfortable mattresses, pillows, bed linens, towels, a flashlight, and an umbrella. Each tent is fully equipped with attached partitioned toilets. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). You can book safaris directly.
The Campsite is situated in a mini forest reserve surrounded by a vast array of flora and fauna that is unique to the area facing the park boundary. It is inevitable that our guests get to observe and be a part of the natural wilderness within such a setting. The tents consists of a desk, seating area, mosquito net with an attached bathroom along with a shower. We also provide wake-up services.
The camp property has a span of 10 acre land and it is accessible with a naturalist present. Other than the kitchen and the dedicated tent areas at the camp site the guests have access to the property grounds as per the rules and regulations mentioned at the camping brief by the manager.
Interaction with guests
Though I am not their personally all the time, my Camp Manager and the team will be at your service all the time. You can discuss your day’s plan and safari requirements with them.
Other things to note
We offer the accommodation as Tent with Breakfast and Dinner basis. As there are no other restaurants close by, we think it's the most practical option. Dinner will be a set menu. We do not have a la-carte option where you could order dishes from the menu.
Although the tents are set up far from local villages, bear in mind that this area is very quiet, so the distant sound of a radio or temple chant may sometimes carry to the campsite. These occurrences are rare, but we would like to keep our customers informed in case such situations arise.
