If you like to work out, the beach is across the street, and a beach walk/jog/run is divine! It's also a great walk/jog/run to go north on Gulf Blvd and then go right(East) over the Bellaire Bridge. The bridge goes up pretty high so the view of the Gulf is spectacular. Many people walk/run the bridge or bike over it.
Hello friend! I love living on Indian Rocks Beach (IRB). I visited my brother here in 2012 and found it to be such a beautiful, peaceful, friendly place that I said I have to move here. So I did, in 2015. It's been a wonderful time getting settled in to IRB. I love that I have my little community and go-to places for everything. I love the convenience of walking across the street to the beach, especially to watch the sunset. I work from home as an instructor and consultant, so I'm kind of a home body. I go out to the movies, shows, and theater now and then. I enjoy going to LA Fitness and cycling. I try to get out and bike around IRB and Clearwater as often as possible. I enjoy sailing any chance I get. I'm friendly and outgoing, and have always enjoyed meeting people and traveling. I was a Rotary Exchange student as a teenager and went to Yokohama, Japan, for one year. I lived with 4 different host families during that time. I've also traveled to Brazil, Costa Rica, Greece, Italy, France, England, and of course throughout the US. I feel lucky to have found this quiet, beautiful community of IRB that I call home. Come and visit!!! You'll make memories that will last a lifetime!
