Chalet Les Glycines is a 277 year old farmhouse that sits in the heart of St Jean d’Aulps, an idyllic french alpine village. It is a one minute walk to the bars and restaurants including Le National pub, the best pub in the valley. The chalet offers a large self-contained ground floor apartment accommodating 8 people in comfort with a large fireplace. It is ideal for 2 families or 3 couples or 8 friends. DOGS are welcome. We only take week bookings starting on Saturdays. Linen and towels free.

The space
Our beds are rated as the most comfortable that people have ever slept in. The 2 double bedrooms each have 2 European single beds (90cm wide) which can zip together to give enormous king size beds! The family bedroom has another 2 single European beds which can be zipped together for another king size bed and it has a single European bunk bed. You can therefore have any combination of 6 single beds and/or 3 double beds.

There a well-equipped kitchen with all the essential basic items like washing up liquid and kitchen roll. A raclette and fondue are also provided.

There are 2 bathrooms, one with a bath and shower and one with a shower. There is a further separate WC on the ground floor.

Guest access
You will have the whole ground floor apartment to yourselves which includes your own ski locker. You have your own deck from the lounge and a table and chairs outside the entrance to the apartment. There is a boot rack with boot warmers inside the apartment to keep your boots dry and warm, there is no charge for this facility, its free!

Other things to note
We do not supply linen for the baby cot, please bring your own baby linen.

I have lived in France for 8 years. I live between the French Alps and Provence. We look forward to seeing you at any time of year in either location. The French summers are amazing, blue skies and hot, and you can canyon, mountain bike, road cycle, white water raft, parapente, hike camp, horse ride, rock climb and even play golf. Needless, to say the winters are awesome too, with on-piste skiing, ski touring, snow shoeing and more parapenting.
