Edward welcomed us and was very informative on where to eat out. We were given the pink room which overlooked the garden and lake. Lovely big room and bathroom. We took a walk to the lake before breakfast watching the swans, ducks & heron. Very relaxing nights stay

From reading the reviews I had a fairly good idea of what to expect, but it was still pleasant when the place lived up to the expectations. From the moment that I booked, communication was excellent - including recommendations on places to eat. We arrived in the evening and were made to feel very welcome being shown to our room and made tea in the sitting room. Edward kindly drove us to the local pub were we had dinner and in the morning Ros prepared a wonderful Breakfast. The House is set on a huge estate which is very quiet and relaxing, but surprisingly close to the town. There is plenty of parking, a swimming pool, and fantastic private grounds to explore.

A great spot to get away from it all. After a very hectic week we arrived to a very kind welcome, and sat on the lawn relaxing and watching the sun set. The room was beautiful, a comfortable bed and lovely breakfasts. Highly recommend.

The Isle is the perfect bed and breakfast - a beautiful room with great views over the surrounding farm estate which we were able to explore freely. Breakfast was delicious and everything you could hope for. Ros and Edward are wonderful hosts, welcoming and informative. Do stay if you are visiting Shrewsbury or just want a country get away!

A stunning house in a peaceful location with the only noises coming from the horses grazing in the fields. Our room was spacious and beautifully furnished with amazing views out over the lake. The perfect spot for a getaway but still only a short drive into Shrewsbury with great restaurants, bars and shops. Edward was the most accommodating host I think we've ever met. Breakfast was great. Taking everything into account good value for money. We would highly recommend.
