Deborah is a nice caring host. We have truly enjoyed our one month stay in Cape Town. We had rented this place, but it was too noisy ( neighbours and train). She immediately resolved the issue, and moved us to another place to a beautiful house, very clean, calm and very safe. Deborah is very nice, and present, yet too present in our opinion. However we very enjoy our month in Cape Town

Response from Deborah:
It was a pleasure to host Chloe and Sawanie but was quite taken aback on day 5 of their stay when they informed me of 'kids yelling' upstairs and trains going by and then requested alternate accommodation. I was very concerned about their comfort for the rest of their stay and so immediately offered them alternate accommodation. Although this listing clearly states that the flat is situated in a complex,so it's impossible for there to be complete quietness at all times. Children were bickering on that particular day according to my understanding. This during the July school break. The family upstairs are a quiet family with structure, at work and school during the day and all is quiet by night. I mention this here so that potential future guests reading the review may hopefully see beyond this complaint. I also informed the ladies that at the alternate accommodation there were recycling bins in the kitchen which had to be emptied from time to time and also check the electricity meter which is the only reason for my presence at the house.

The flat is very beautiful and comfortable. It had everything we needed as a mom and child, and we felt very safe there. The neighborhood is great, quiet, and everyone is very friendly. Deborah was wonderful, very responsive, always polite, and extremely helpful! When we first arrived, she arranged for a shuttle for us, and when we got to the home she was there to welcome us. She even had the house stocked with some food to get us started, and gave us a ride to the shop to get some necessities. It made the whole experience very stress-free! I would definitely recommend this place.
