Interaction with guests
We love having people over! We enjoy making people feel like they're at their own house. We're blessed to have this property and it thrills us to be able to share it with other people.
We live in Cholul, Yucatán. A typical Mayan pueblo. Everyone rides bikes and Cholul habitants dress in the traditional "huipil" (Mayan linen or cotton dress). Cholul's downtown is located 5 - 8 min walk away from the house and has its Bakery, Tortilla store, Catholic church, etc.
We get public buses around Cholul's downtown. However, we strongly suggest people to rent a car to get to the house. If you travel to Cancun's international airport, there is a bus that takes you Cancun - Merida Altabrisa. There should be a car rental establishment next to the bus station Merida Altabrisa.
The Hacienda House is located 15 min from Merida's shopping area, 20 min from Merida's Historical Downtown, 15 min away from Puerto Progreso (beach with longest pier in the world). There is enough parking for up to 5 cars inside the property and off street parking as well.
We'd like to have you the best experience ever! We encourage respect and expect guest to treat our house as if it was theirs.
We have a big, land that allows us to have Chihuahuas. Therefore, no pets are allowed.
We ask as well to avoid smoking in the property.

We consider ourselves a very "young" married couple, early 50's.
Our kids are living out of the house -our daughter is married and lives in PA, USA and our son goes to Hillsong College in Australia.
We enjoy life, reading, gardening and why not, food!
We are very calm and enjoy a good laughter!
