My place is near the lively German Colony, the center of Jerusalem, and the Old City, but still recessed enough from that area to avoid traffic or other noise of that type. It overlooks a pedestrian/bicycle/jogging park that runs for several kilometers. It is also beside another smaller park. Be aware that it is a walk-up to the fourth floor. The advantage here is that it has great views front and back. The building itself is undistinguished, but the apartment has been renovated completely.
This is a well appointed, renovated and equipped one BR flat on HaRakevet on the border with Baka/Emek Refaim, with a lovely view of Park HaMesilah, which runs for several kilometers and accommodates separate "lanes" for joggers, bicyclists and walkers. A/C, self-cleaning oven, TV, WiFi, cable, washer, dryer, fully equipped kitchen with microwave, cutlery, pots, etc. Besides the bed in BR, there is also a sofa in the LR-Salon area that can be turned out into a bed. In addition, there is an iron and hair dryer in the apartment. The building is close to all amenities in Jerusalem and within walking distance of many landmarks.
You have access to everything in the apartment. The kitchen is fully equipped.
Interaction with guests
Except for the Sabbath and religious holidays, I am available for help. You will also know how to reach me for emergencies.
Hi. We reply quickly to all reservation requests or inquiries. We have turned off Instant Bookings for the moment, because we are not able to check in/out on the Sabbath (from Friday evening to 90 minutes after sunset on Saturday night) or on the major Jewish holidays (please see special note regarding Passover/April below). If this should arise for some reason, we'll make every effort to work out an entry/exit schedule that we hope will suit everyone. However, during the winter season here, we request that you please NOT reserve if you are planning to check in on Fridays after 10 a.m., or if you plan to check out on Friday after 0800 Jerusalem time, or check out on Saturdays before 2100. The same applies to Jewish holidays, such as Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Passover or Shavuot. To repeat, we can NOT accommodate guests who check in/check out either during, or shortly before or after, the Sabbath or these holidays. We recommend that you inquire before making a reservation to ensure that you are not checking in or checking out at these times. Thank you. We wish you a wonderful stay. Special Note regarding Passover and Sukkot. SInce we may not be around to check you in or out, the only reservations we can accept for these times are for the entire period that covers these dates plus at least two nights before and one night thereafter. Once again, we will do everything we can to accommodate you and limit the pressure on your pocketbook, but please inquire beforehand, i.e., before you make a booking online, so we can work out the dates and arrangements. Many thanks. Whatever accommodation you choose while in Jerusalem and Israel, we wish you a lovely stay.
