Where do I start?? At the beginning I guess. We had fantastic quick responses from sokbo prior to leaving the UK and on arrival were met at the airport by the lovely Chalky in a free tuk tuk transfer. On arrival ( and every time we came home ) we were offered cooling towels and cold water and smiling faces from sokbo her gorgeous little girls and the two young ladies who live and work there. Each morning we had cambodian breakfast with the family and sokbo chatted about cambodian life. One night we stayed in and had delicious home cooked dinner with the family for $6 each. Sokbo gave us a mobile phone so we could always call her or chalky and booked two trips directly for us. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her. On the last day of our holiday she took me on her moped to the local market to buy the food for the day and also offered me a cooking class. The rooms we stayed in were beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The house is a little bit out of the main town but we liked the peace and quiet and it was only $3 into the centre with Chalky. And as an added bonus sokbo rang ahead to a local hotel and we were able to use their fantastic pool for the cost of a couple of drinks. All in all the venue was beautiful the host amazing and I am so glad we chose airbnb as opposed to some soulless hotel. I cannot recommend sokbo s home highly enough and wish we were back there now. Thank you vuthy family for making our holiday xx

Sokbo was a perfect host. She organised a tuktuk to pick us up from the airport and cooked a delicious meal for us on the first night. Staying with Sokbo and her family gave us a glimpse of real Cambodian family life. The rooms were beautifully designed, big, bright and equipped with great showers and piping hot water. It was the little things that Sokbo provided though which set her apart, like loaning us a mobile phone so we could get in touch with our tuktuk driver when we needed a lift back. On the morning we left it was early, but Sokbo prepared us a breakfast to eat on the go and gave us a lift to our pick-up point. We had an amazing time in Siem Reap thanks to Sokbo and the next time we are there we will definitely be staying with her.

Fantastic stay here: Room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice seating area outside. Home cooked veggie breakfast was delicious. Offered us some bicycles to get into town, so kind and generous. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

Sokbo' home is such a special place - comfortable, quiet, peaceful. The room is the perfect escape from busy Siem Reap and wonderfully comfortable. The giant bath is a real treat, as we're the delicious breakfasts! Thanks again Sokbo and family - we will certainly be recommending your place to other people!

If you want a more secluded location with great facilities and lovely hosts this is the place for you. The room had everything we needed and Sokbo was really helpful in organising tuk tuks or helping with activities. We were only able to stay one night, but wish we could have stayed longer.

I had a great stay! The place is beautiful and Sokbo made sure I had everything I needed. She lent me her bike to cycle around the villages and into town and took me to the local market to show me the non-touristy Cambodia. She also showed me how to cook some delicious Khmer food and I had loads of fun playing with her two gorgeous little girls. Im very glad I stayed.

The natural homestay is the perfect first stop in any Cambodian adventure. Sokbo and her lovely family made us feel the most welcome and ensured we experienced a variety of the different treats Siem Reap had to offer. The room was clean, fresh and modern with the biggest bath and hot water (a treat compared to other more highly priced places we stayed on our trip). Our advice to anyone going to stay at the natural homestay is get on one of the bikes Sokbo has to offer and go explore the local area. Thanks again Sokbo and Vuthy and please come and stay with us in the Uk anytime! :)

We are a small family with one son and one daughter. I used to work in tourism industry for many years. I have a khmer house and I would like to share this traditional style to people around the world. I hope I could share my local knowledge.
