Our cosy barn conversion is the perfect base for you to explore the outstanding natural beauty of the Yorkshire Dales.
The Barn was beautifully converted in the mid 2000s with traditional stone, slate and oak throughout the property. The downstairs comprises a large open plan living area with two comfy sofas and a log burning fire, a modern kitchen with an electric range cooker, fridge freezer, coffee machine and breakfast bar opening to a large dining area. To the rear of the house there is access to a utility room with sink, washing machine and a downstairs w/c - and of course plenty of space to hang your outdoor gear and any muddy boots! Additionally there is a small south-facing garden patio area to the front.
Taking the oak staircase upstairs, there are two double bedrooms and one bedroom with two single beds. The bathroom has a full size bath and separate shower area. There is extra space to hang clothes or use for storage on the upstairs landing area which are guests are more than welcome to use.
We want you to feel totally at home during your stay and all areas of the barn are open for you. We will provide a welcome basket with local produce and essentials like milk, tea and coffee to help you get settled in. Please feel free to use our coffee machine for your morning espresso before the big hike!
The cupboards are well stocked with spices and other sundries - our guests are welcome to use these - all we ask is that you replace anything that runs out.
Please let us know when you book if you are bringing bicycles or other large equipment with you. We would be happy to provide a key to the garage where your gear can be stored securely for your peace of mind.

Based in - after many years in exile - Manchester. I have a love for the great outdoors and nature in all it's guises; whether in the foothills of a Sri Lankan rainforest or in the streets of San Francisco (or even Salford). Birder not a twitcher. Walker not a jogger.
