About this listing
Our home is a charming Cape Cod on a beautiful cul-de-sac in Hastings on Hudson NY, with hardwood floors and fireplace. It is close to New York City, Westchester restaurants and cultural activities, great views of the Hudson from downtown. The upstairs floor is all yours -- with one bedroom, separate office (including futon couch) and bathroom. The train station is 1.7 miles away, easy access by car or walking, 33 min from GCT. My place is good for couples (with a child) and business travelers.
We are close to a bike path (South County rail trail) and Hillside Woods is a lovely place for a walk. MacEachron Park in front of Harvest on Hudson restaurant is a great place to have a picnic and watch the sunset over the river.
Guests will have to use the main door and go through the dining room to the stairs. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen.
- Guests will have access to the main parts of the house, but will spend most of the time in the upstairs suite.
- Please be mindful of our Asian furnishings and treat our house with care. We are happy to share it with you but want to keep it beautiful and cozy.

I have had an international career at the United Nations in the fields of water resources, sustainable development and gender equality. I am currently the president of the United Nations Association of Westchester County. I spent 13 years living and working in Asia. My main home is in Hastings on Hudson NY and vacation home is in Krabi Thailand. I have 30 year old twin sons (one in SF and the other in Bangkok, Thailand). My husband passed away in 2014, so I am now sharing my house with a good friend who has the basement apartment. I love travel, boats, diving, exploring cultures, reading, theater, good conversation and good food. Thai food is my favorite cuisine!
