My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at the Guest Nest. It was just enough room for the both of us to be comfortable and the rate was definitely reasonable. We really enjoyed how close it was to town, only a couple of blocks away. A heat wave came through during our stay, so it got a bit warm. It was totally manageable with the fan that Angie provided though. Would stay here again. Thanks again Angie!

This room was a perfect size and location for our needs. It was very clean and making contact with Angie was a breeze. The local community of White Salmon was ideal for grabbing breakfast or dinner between trips to the Mount Hood area.

Angie furnished this little gem with contemporary and comfortable furnishings, and many thoughtful touches, like natural and great smelling soaps, soft towels, and an organized and well appointed kitchenette. We also appreciated that she has bins for recycling. Although the space is small, it is works really well and has high ceilings and lots of light. And it is new and clean and well cared for. The nights were cool so we slept with windows wide open. We felt like we were staying at a friend's home not a rental. The neighborhood is quiet and inviting with lots of gardens, nice to stroll through. We saw a young buck walking down the alley, and enjoyed seeing chickens across the street! We ended most days with a glass of wine in the outside sitting area. Location was amazing. We walked to excellent breakfasts at the White Salmon Bakery and North Shore Cafe, bought cheeses and salads at Feast!, found good wine at Harvest Market, and had a wonderful dinner at Henni's; good beer at Everybody's Brewing. We highly recommend a stay here for two people.

Angie's place is very clean and quiet in a nice residential area. The place is on the small side but has everything you need. Almost all of the bars, restaurants and stores in town are within walking distance. Communication was excellent.

Angie has a nice studio perfect for 1 person or a couple complete with an induction cooker and enough cookware to do everything you'd want to do. The bed is a pull out couch with an additional sleeping roll on top. I'm happy to say that this is one of the few places in the gorge where the trains/highway did not wake me up at night. Her place is immaculate. Not a spot of dirt in the place.

I am a teacher and a mother of two grown kids, living their dreams. I love skiing, running, biking, soccer, swimming, traveling, mountain & road biking, climbing things I probably shouldn't, and I'm learning how to kite-surf. I value free time, organic foods, a good glass of red wine, and big trees. I grew up mostly in the Portland area and spent much of my childhood bopping around Mt. Hood. After living in Hood River for 15 years, I’ve recently moved across the river to White Salmon, so I am still learning about all the great local adventure spots, but I can tell you a lot about the area in general.
