We arrived at the riad about an hour earlier than check in time and knocked on the door for about 30 minutes until eventually a man came and told us about another door we could go in, we were not entirely sure he was a member of staff but he let us in anyway and made us some nice mint tea and biscuits. The courtyard smells like cat poo/toilet and I imagine this is from one of the cats/toilet. We also expected breakfast but often no one was around so we couldn't ask for drinks or food. The room was quite nice, clean and we liked the traditional feel. The bathroom was very small and dark and I was a bit disappointed with the roof terrace expecting somewhere nice to relax but we just found a run down terrace with the odd pillow. It's a shame as I was looking forward to staying here and it was the same price that we payed for a much nicer place closer to town and that served breakfast.

Jawad was such a good host and was always willing to help us. His riad has so much beautiful detail everywhere you look...from the courtyard to the room. It is a quiet place to escape the busy city streets, It can be a lil tricky finding it at first but once you're familiar with the street it's fine. The riad is also 15mins from the main square. I also liked the view from the roof terrace, you can see quite far across the city. His mint tea was the best tea that we had whilst in Marrakech!

Mr Jawad is a good host. He will welcome you with a big smile and a moroccan tea. He will help you and give all the advice you need. He also organise trips to the desert or to the Ouzoud's waterfall. The Riad is beautiful and peaceful. The location is the best. In the medina, 15 minutes walk from Jeema El Fna, shops and restaurants everywhere. I had the best time, thank you.

Jawad was an excellent host. From picking us up from the airport (and having to wait a while with no complaints!), to using his own time to drive us to a special spice shop at our request and cooking delicious food (with the most amazing mint tea and coffee when we asked), we have had an amazing time. Riad Carole is breathtakingly beautiful. Whilst the weather has been 40°c for the majority of our stay, the cool courtyard in the middle of the Riad has been an absolute haven. The room doesn't have air con or a fan, but was very cool for all of our stay. We were also allowed to use the kitchen facilities and shown the beautiful roof terrace were we spent most evenings. Could not recommend this place more - Jawad and his family are lovely.

After staying here the first time, I insisted my parent stay here. Jawad, as per usual, looked after them very well. He was very easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to help my parents with any transport, queries, or problems they had

Riad Carole is situated in an excellent location, near to the medina wall to get out of the centre, but also 15 minutes walk from the heart of the Souks. Jawad and his team are excellent hosts, who provide fresh bread/jams and mint tea each morning. The courtyard is a cool and peaceful retreat from the busy streets, and the Riad is further complemented by a high roof terrace, offering sun, shade and great views. I would stay here again.
