Hagerstown is known as "The Hub" for good reason! Our place is conveniently located close to Interstates 81 and 70. You’ll love our place because of the comfortable living space. We want you to feel at home. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
Our place is close to the Hagerstown Regional Airport; Volvo Powertrain Manufacturing Facility and JLG; just a little over an hour to Washington D.C., Baltimore and Annapolis; less than an hour to the Gettysburg Battlefield, Harper's Ferry, and Antietam Battlefield; just thirty minutes to Whitetail Ski Resort; and just minutes off of Interstates 81 and 70.
Please note that although this area is furnished with a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot, it is not a full kitchen. This space is great for people who don't plan to cook aside from heating things up in the microwave. We do provide coffee, tea, water, and packets of oatmeal, along with paper plates, bowls, cups, and plastic cutlery for your convenience.
Also, this basement space does have some areas that we utilize. For short term renters, we make sure this space is kept private. For longer term renters, sometimes we may need access to these areas, but only when it is convenient for the renter.
Guests are invited to park in one of our driveway spaces, off of the street. Guest access is a private entrance on the left side of the house to the basement space.
Interaction with guests
We give our guests space, but we are available when needed.
During your stay, please feel free to text Ginny with any questions or concerns.
Other things to note
We are happy to help with any questions about places to eat or things to do in Hagerstown and the surrounding areas.
Please respect our home as you would your own (assuming you take very good care of your home). NO PETS and NO SMOKING!
My wife Ginny and I like to travel, especially with our family. We have three kids: our oldest is teaching English in China, our second is completing her last year in college, and our youngest is in his first year of college. I'm originally from a small town in Alabama and my wife grew up in San Francisco, but we now live in Maryland. I work in Washington D.C. and Ginny keeps herself busy with our home and family. We enjoy getting to meet new people and experiencing new places.
