The beautiful little house was recently built, modern and with much attention to detail set up. Virtually all glazing of the kitchen and living area to the Atlantic Ocean and the recently UNESCO World nature heritage appointed Anaga mountains, is breathtaking.

Perfect location, with a lovely balcony to watch goings-on in the quiet village (mostly old men tending to allotments!), and gaze at the sea / hills. The coast road stops at the village, and it's a decent drive to get in and out, but that's the cost of seclusion! Locals far outnumber tourists in this corner of the island. The local beach is swimmable, but rocky - best accessed off to the right at low tide, when sand appears. Playa de Las Gaviotas is the next closest beach, with a proper stretch of sand and fun surf to play in. And Las Teresitas is as beautiful as they say, with a huge area of perfectly calm water reserved for swimming. At the weekends, both are packed with people from Santa Cruz - don't try to park down at Las Gaviotas if it's busy! The surrounding hills have lots of paths to explore, often rough, but stunning scenery. The walk over to Playa de Antequera was a real adventure (it took us 1.5hrs to get there, running part of the way). The roads are good for cycling, with plenty of climbs and amazing views - and notably courteous drivers. The property is simply but adequately furnished and equipped.

The neighbourhood as a rule is very quiet especially during the day but every house has a few dogs and any noise during the night sets them off. It's a bit of a trek out on twisty cliff road so you feel remote, only one really small local shop and one restaurant/bar. Amazing views from the balcony, a mountain in front of you a valley to your left and the sea to your right with a small village at your feet. Lots of hiking with well marked out trails and the Anaga national park a short walk away. Front door abit close to the road, wouldn't use sun loungers provided unless your an exhibitionist! Overall nice apartment great views, we really enjoyed our stay but next time might want somewhere less remote.

Insert in amazing place, original contest to understand what Canarian Island have to offer. The house is clean and full of optional. The best thing is the possibility to ear the sea and view him from a perfect angulation. Igueste is one of the best and most typical village we saw. All around silence, sea and mountains. If are you searching for calm and relax is the best. 10!
