This space is a 24.5 foot camper on a working farm. The camper is clean and modern and comfortable for a family to relax in. The beds are a queen size and two fold-down double beds. There is cupboard space, a toilet, shower, and kitchen. There is an awning and grill for outdoor entertaining. The farm is a working livestock and organic mixed produce farm with picturesque views, miles of wooded trails, and a beautiful fish pond. Fresh organic veggies and eggs are included.

The space

The camper has all of the comforts of home with all of the excitement of a holiday camping trip in the beautiful natural surroundings of a farm.

Guest access

Guests can enjoy access to the whole 100 acres of pristine farm and nature trails.

Interaction with guests

We would be glad to help guests with any questions or concerns they have during their stay. We live on site. We would also be happy to arrange interaction with the animals such as horseback riding or fishing for an additional charge.

Other things to note

This is a working farm and though the space is a quiet and peaceful break from the city, there are noises and smells and sights associated with livestock farming that some individuals may not prefer. The cow moos in the morning, the sheep bleat, the horses whinny, the chickens cluck.

We loved this place! Deborah and Eric are lovely people and were so helpful and friendly. We would have loved to spend more time with them! They're busy! The amount of care they put into their farm and animals is so admirable. We brought our two dogs along and they were in heaven. There were three adults and we all slept comfortably in the trailer. It might have been tight if we had had to spend a rainy weekend inside together, but the weather was great! This place is great for outdoor adventurers! We appreciated the respite from the city. We also loved the cool pine forest on the property. And eggs! Veggies! Herbs! Yum! We'll be back. Unfortunately our little vacation went pear shaped Saturday evening when I got super sick and ended up in the hospital. I was so bummed out because before that we were having a great time! There were a few glitches with the trailer as well, but things were sorted quickly, no problem. Six thumbs and eight paws up!!!!!

If you're looking for a private, quiet, tranquil or family-friendly, this is the place! Nothing better than waking up to the sounds of roosters and walking out the door and see horses grazing...Best host family you'll ever meet!

Me, my wife and our little dog stayed their for two nights. We had a wonderful stay. Very scenic place. The trailer was cosy and private. Our dog had the most fun: running around off leash, barking at horses, chasing turkeys, sniffing sheep. A really nice place for a short getaway. Deborah and Eric are very welcoming, nice and caring. We really enjoyed their company a lot :)

Deborah and Eric are super great and friendly hosts. We had an unforgettable day at their wonderful Farm. They gave us a tour of the farm, and also we had a chance to try horseback riding with their beautiful horses. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Deborah User ProfileDeborah is a superhost.

My husband and I are organic farmers in Ontario, Canada and Vermont, USA. We are keen to share the healing beauty of farm life with people. We love nature, art, animals, home-grown food, and making new friends.

On our farm, we have horses, chickens, donkeys, sheep, pigs, cows, honeybees, and turkeys. We grow garden vegetables for sale as CSA shares (Community Shared Agriculture) and at our farm gate stand. We provide retirement board for elderly or injured horses. We are a WWOOF host farm and we enjoy sharing our experience with new farmers and anyone with a passion for organic food.

For more information, find us on social media under Laurenwood Farm.

I feel compelled to add, though it should go without saying: We welcome people from all walks of life, every race and ethnicity, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender, creed, colour, flavour, you name it. We love all of you humans and you are all important to us.

Thank you and we hope to hear from you soon!
