Dear Francine You and your family were the perfect people to start 2018 with at the farm! All of you created magic by reminding us how lucky we are to enjoy winter in Maine and to see it appreciated through the eyes of our new Floridian friends:))

Staying at Barbara and Jim's beautiful, sparkling-clean, picturesque home was a great pleasure. We had a mini Christmas getaway (complete with Christmas Day blizzard) and had a wonderful time. Barbara and Jim are superhosts for a reason, and it felt like staying with old friends …

Response from Barbara:
Having guests stay over the holiday as well as with dealing with a blizzard that followed an ice storm, could have been stressful. Bridget and her family took all of this in stride and left us without a care, as they truly felt like having family with us. It was really special to see them come and go to visit the horses even though some might have found the weather challenging. Fun and easy guest make hosting fun, easy and rewarding for us and a lovely way to share our holiday.

Pictures, reviews and ratings all do the Thanksgiving Farm an injustice. The place and people scored off the charts for us. We can’t recommend it highly enough. Thanks!

Well, what a nice, relaxing spot to vacation. A restored old Farm House, with the greatest accommodations. When you drive up you might see the Nordic horses outside, then you meet Barbra, who is so very kind. We got a tour of house, horses and barn. A bit of history included. The…

My husband Jim and I have lived at our beautiful vintage farm for over 10 years. My childhood dream of having a horse was realized after a trip to Iceland 10 years ago. We fell in love with two horses and made a huge leap from being avid sailors to becoming horse lovers/owners. W…
