This is probably one of the best airbnb experience you can get in Cuba.

The previous reviews of Gisel's place are very accurate. The apartment located in La Habana is awesome with a nice view. The only surprise was the actual building. Most visitors will be shocked building exterior, but pleasantly surprised once inside the apartment. There is a piano bar on the top level (another pleasant surprise). The apartment is within walking distance of many places of interest (Hotel Nacional, American Embassy, and various restaurants/bars). There is young lady that cleans and prepares breakfast every day. She is both welcoming and very charming. We had a great driver/tour guide (Alex) he was a great representative of Cuba. Our stay would not have been the same without Alex. The asset I enjoyed the most was the A/C in the apartment. Cuba is very hot and humid (very). I loved the Cuban people and their welcoming spirit. I look forward to my next visit to Cuba. When visiting Cuba, I would definitely recommend having an itinerary. Cuba is not really a place to "play it by ear" especially with limited internet access. If you have an opportunity to leave La Habana, I would suggest you take that opportunity. Don't hesitate to book your stay at Gisel's place. I know where I'm staying on my next visit.......

The place was spectacular and everyone was so nice and helpful. Made our stay great. Will definitely stay again on our next visit. Gisel arranged airport transportation and he was waiting as soon as we got through customs. A worker was there on arrival Showed us around. The place was as nice as a 4 star hotel. Very modern and well designed. There were some small ants in the kitchen which we mentioned but never got taken care of. But wiping down the counters each day solved the problem for the most part. The air conditioner made the stay much better. As strong as any American hotel room air conditioner walking in from our hot days out was so refreshing. The breakfast was a bonus we didnt expect and absolutely delicious. And the rooftop bar was a great convenience for watching the sun set. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

One of the highlights of our trip was breakfast on the balcony overlooking the Malecon! Accommodations and amenities were top notch. Staff provided excellent service and Gisel was extremely responsive. What a great place to come home to after a long day of sightseeing. Highly recommend, great for couples.

The location is perfect, nestled directly behind the U.S. embassy, 50 yards from the malecon, and in a safe neighborhood with plenty of dining and cultural experiences available. Our host was outstanding and the apartment was beautiful.

This place is a gen in Havana. The place is just as the photo but better. It's easy to get a taxi, although it can be a little expense. But the host is there to make sure that all goes well. They even had a cell phone that you can use. You do however need to get a SIM card, which is about $40.00 penos and be prepared to stand on line to get it. Spanish is a must Paying it. The place is very clean and modern. The breakfast in the morning was a great added extra, which was great sitting out on the balcony in the mornings. I would stay there again. My host Sylvia got us a taxi to pick us up at the airport and to take us back. $30.00 penos same as $30.00 US dollars. The money exchange for US is dollar for dollar was make sure that You bring adiquicate funds with you. You can't go to any ATM's or use credit cards. This is an amazing trip , and a wonderful place to stay.
