Bunkhouse Wimberley is close to restaurants and dining, nightlife, family-friendly activities, the Blanco River, Downtown Wimberley, Laundromat, eateries in Wimberley, Blanco, New Braunfels, Dripping Springs, wineries. Bunkhouse is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
Our place is close to restaurants and shops in downtown Wimberley, yet secluded and restfully quiet. Couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers will find it easy to reach Blanco, New Braunfels, Dripping Springs, wineries and outdoor activities. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, sexual orientation.
You have access to the bunkhouse and porch and parking area. No access to the studio or house.

Check in at 3 p.m. Check out at 11 a.m. If you need flexibility, please arrange in advance.
Occupancy: maximum two persons. No overnight guests, children, animals or any kind of tobacco use anywhere on the property. No candles or open-flame devices allowed on the property.
Your privacy and comfort is important to us. We ask that you also respect our neighbors’ and our privacy, as well. All surrounding areas are owned by someone, so please do not attempt to explore any of the nearby woods or acreage. No hunting or shooting of any kind is permitted.
You are expected to keep music and voices at a respectful level and to avoid making noise after 9 p.m.
Please park only in designated places. Do not block any driveway.
Intoxication of any kind will not be tolerated. Law enforcement will be summoned if needed.
Food Prep: please do not pour grease into the sink or outside. A can labeled “grease” is under the kitchen sink for the disposal of oil and grease. Help yourself to any contents, including soups in the cupboard above the stove.
Temperature: adjust the thermostat using only the up and down arrows. If you need an electric blanket, one has been stored in a plastic box in the closet.
Bath: please use the slip-proof mat if you are unsteady in the shower. Allow towels to dry before placing them in the laundry basket. Please do not take towels out of the house.
Gale and Lucy Wiley are recently retired, Gale after 40 years of teaching, most recently from Texas State University; Lucy after as many years making art. Both plan writing and travel projects in coming years. They have four children between them.
