A real opportunity to experience country life in a truly stunning location . During the winter months you have a wing of the house to yourself including private entrance large spacious bedroom and bathroom and lobby.
Beautiful bedroom with a vaulted ceiling in a traditional Welsh cottage .A stone`s throw from the coastal path and secluded beaches and one of the finest examples of iron age huts .Stunning views and real Welsh rural culture.
....and breakfast.

The space

Our place is on the edge of the Lleyn Peninsula in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with beaches, mountains and a coastal path at our doorstep. A small working farm and Spanish horse stud you will experience real country life. There are local restaurants and plenty of history to see, great walks and art galleries but you will need a car to visit them. Breath taking views wherever you turn.
Your room has a king size bed and it`s own entrance , a wood burner ,wooden floor, high ceilings and plenty of character. Plus breakfast.
The bathroom is private from October to March as is your part of the house, including private entrance (with keysafe) spacious lobby therefore the price doesnt change in the winter. The bathroom is shared during end of March to September, hence the very reasonable price in what is a really comfortable room and at the moment bath only . We supply bathrobes to make the sharing a bit more convenient.

The room is comfortable and peaceful and because it`s at the end of our house with it`s own access . The lovely vaulted ceiling creates a really airy and relaxing space and you are sure to have a really pleasant night`s sleep. There`s a comfortable, large sofa to relax and a lovely wood burner which warms the room and adds a homely, pleasant scene.( There will be logs ready in the room and we can supply you with more at a reasonable price.) It just makes the room special and cosy. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room. A traditional Welsh Breakfast is included as well as fresh fruit cereals and breads .(We have been awarded a rating of 5 (very good) by the food standards agency)
If you`re a horse owner and want to bring your horse on holiday with you ,we can accommodate your horse either in our American barn or traditional stables .Haylage, bedding on rubber matting are in the package. Just get in touch for more info.

You have access to parking next to your room . If you want to meet the horses or any other farm animals ,just ask, but we do ask you not to visit them on your own for your safety. Our dogs are friendly but they do like their own space. We respect this and we hope you will do the same. You can sit out in our garden and enjoy the amazing view and listen to the quiet of the countryside only disturbed by animal noises and the odd tractor and a wide variety of little birds. The fields are where the animals live .That`s their relaxing space and we ask you not to go into them .There are plenty of places to walk all around us as well as our own mountain. Check out the photos for a taste of what our location has to offer. We think you`ll like it..

We love where we live and feel we are very fortunate to live in such a beautiful part of the world. We hope we can give you a taste of Welsh hospitality and culture. We are more than willing to supply you with information about places to visit, walks, restaurants and pubs, beaches ,local sailing facilities etc. and as a Welsh speaker can give you tips on pronunciation and Welsh culture if you`re interested. If there`s something we don`t know we`ll find out for you. Just ask.We really do hope you`ll enjoy our home.

We live in a very quiet area but we`re not too far from villages and towns. There are stunning views . I often wonder at the beauty of the scenery even though I have lived here most of my life. It never fails to impress me.

There are plenty of walks here but a car is necessary to visit town, restaurants ,pubs etc.

At our place you will experience real country living on a working stud and farm. We love where we live and are glad to share it with others, as we realise we are very fortunate to live in such a special place. We care and respect the animals we own and appreciate others doing likewise .If you`re interested in our animals we are more than glad to introduce you to them but please remember you must be accompanied.

Our stay was fantastic. The place was beautiful without of personal touches. We were helped with directions and given great recommendations, we only wished we'd booked the full weekend. Thank you

My partner and I stayed here for four nights in late October 2017 and had a wonderful time. The bedroom is large, clean, spacious and well-furnished, with a useful mini-fridge, warming wood stove and hugely comfortable bed and sofa. The bathroom is also clean and spacious, and there's a nice lobby with space to hang your coats and muddy shoes, plus a big bookshelf of Agatha Christies, DH Lawrence, and Thomas Hardy novels. The farm is just a few minutes drive from Pistyll, in a really idyllic valley looking over the mountains, hills and the bay - the views, especially during the morning sunrise, are stunning. Most of all, Elin was a terrific, helpful and friendly host. Morning breakfasts were lovely, and Elin had great suggestions for walks and day trips - in particular we loved the beautiful 90 minute walk up the hill and around the farm. We would recommend staying here without reservation.

Beautifully furnished, cosy and rustic. We loved staying in Elins house. We had use of a private bathroom, entrance hall and generous bedroom. The log burner gave the room a cosy glow and Elin was a great host making us a delicious breakfast and great recomendations for places to visit and places to eat! Lovely place to stay :)
