This city area is situated at the heart of the Puerto area, just beside the beach avenue, at one of its best sections. It is just a nice stroll from La Puntilla (which is the west end of the beach) and, if you go the other side, Auditorio Alfredo Kraus, at the east end. Five minutes walking will take you to Santa Catalina park, main center of Carnival celebrations every February. Right behind the park, you will find a mall center called "El Muelle", where you can find everything, from clothes to electronics, and also places to eat or have drinks.
