Fresh, clean and comfortable and fully equipped. Situated in Seapoint on the atlantic seaboard! Shops, chemists, public transport and the famous Beach Front Promenade all with 3 minutes walking distance.
Ideally sleeps 3, but we do have a double sleeper couch that can sleep an extra 2 people.

A common comment in our reviews is that the apartment is accurately portrayed in the photos provided. No surprises!!
The unit comes with uncapped wifi, satellite television, and is FULLY furnished, with all the basics you could possibly need; washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, microwave/oven, Nespresso, aircon etc. Cleanliness is an absolute necessity when we're staying away from home, and you can be sure that on arrival, everything will be absolutely squeaky clean.
We have really put a lot of thought into fully utilizing the 57 square meters in this unit. The flat is opposite a beautiful church garden with proper views of Signal Hill behind it. So although it’s in the hub of Seapoint, you don’t get that claustrophobic feel that a lot of the blocks in this area have.
The main bedroom is huge with enough cupboard space for a small country. And the extra-length, super king bed with high-quality linen will make it difficult to get up and do things in the mornings!!
We have taken the bath out of the bathroom and replaced it with a large shower with two roses and a large shower bench which would fit a baby bath should that be necessary. As such, the bathroom is spacious and easy to keep clean and dry!
The second bedroom is dual purpose. The extra-length ¾ bed has been built in and was installed to act as both a day-bed or a fully functional bed, depending on the number of people staying in the flat. It’s a cosy room with its own cupboard space and desk. Our idea was for this room to either serve as a bedroom, OR as an office-come-reading room.
And then our favourite part of the flat…. The living area is a well thought-out space aimed at pleasing the modern tenant with beautiful, high-quality finishes including white granite counter tops, concealed lighting and dropped ceilings with original wooden flooring and excellent-quality, comfortable furniture. A small dining room table comfortably seats 4 people, but folds out to accommodate 6 should you have guests (the unit is kitted out with 6 of everything in terms of cutlery and crockery). For the rest, we invite you to enjoy a relaxed area where cooking, slouching infront of the TV or socializing all come together seamlessly.
The unit comes with a private parking bay in a secure parking area. The block itself is very safe, and has 24h manned security at the front door. Included in the cost is a trusted cleaning lady who we insist on coming at least once a week for long stays, but we can arrange for this to occur more frequently at your request.
The entire apartment is at your disposal, with the exception of a small cupboard we keep locked.
We make use of self-check-in as this gives guests arriving from the airport more flexibility. We have a key lock at the front door. The code will be confirmed with you prior to your arrival. Check out is at 10am. Check-in is any time after 5pm. We can on occasion organize an early check in or at least let you drop your bags off if the cleaner is still busy after the previous tenants.
You'll have access through a secure parking area at the back of the building where you have an exclusive-use parking bay, as well as through the front entrance which has24h manned security.
Interaction with guests
We've been in the AirBnB business for 6 months now and have been so fuelled and excited by the great stays our tenants have had with us. We are both people-pleasers, and will go above and beyond to ensure that our guests have the best time possible.
We've created a space that allows our guests complete independence during their stay. Although we will continuously be in contact with you during your stay, for the most part, we won't meet you personally.
Although we live outside of the city, we have a unit right across the road which we use on a weekly basis so are often in the area. Regardless of where we are though, we will always prioritize your stay and if need be we will happily come in to the city to assist you. We also have trustworthy contacts next door who have offered to help us if you need more urgent assistance. We take great pride in our fast and solution-based responses to your needs or requests.
Upon arrival, we will add you to a (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) group that we are both apart of, so any questions you may have will be sent to both of us to ensure a swift response.
Other things to note
We're really proud of the reviews we've received since opening our apartment up on AirBnB. We have learnt though that in this industry, keeping everyone happy can be a bit of a tight-rope walk at times.
The only negative feedback we have had, has been due to truly unforeseen circumstance or due to false expectations. Please take the time to read the following cautionary paragraphs.
Cape Town, for better or for worse, is probably the only city in South Africa where its easy to forget that you're in a third world country. Having said that, you will still see evidence of this during your stay. Beggars and the occasional drunk are unfortunately apart of our daily lives. These unfortunate people are truly harmless and keep to themselves. Its an uncomfortable thing to see some times but you won't find an area in the city without it.
Seapoint, the suburb our flat is situated in, is well know for its quirky blend of inhabitants of all shapes, sizes, races and religions. Its why we LOVE it. We will not waste energy defending our city against complaints of "strange looking people".
The area is extremely safe. The same rules that apply anywhere in South Africa (or for most international cities for that matter) apply here- don't leave hand bags unattended and women should be weary of walking the streets alone after dark- more so in terms of petty crimes like hand bag and purse grabs. A sober women on the main road after dark really should not have any problems.
The flat is situated on a main road, so you do hear the traffic, although being on the second floor the noise level really isn't offensive. Fortunately, due to the metropolitan nature of the area, the noise definitely dies down outside of office hours during the week and is especially quiet on weekend mornings.
