The location was great, close to everything. Parking was uncomplicated and it was easy to find. The place was open and big. It might feel like student housing... the bathrooms are shared and it does get loud. But overall great value for the price.

I've hosted close to a 100 people. This was my first time staying at another members. Loic has a smooth, efficient operation. The loft was airy and modern. It has all the basic ammeities. Plenty of bathrooms (4?). The neighborhood is primarily Puerta Rican. It was culturally full fillingl There was a 24 hr Deli next door. There fresh smoothies hit the spot after a hard night of dancing. Unfortunately there was a major Gas leak and the entire block was evacuated. For the inconvenience, Loic unhesitantly refunded our money. The L train is 3 blocks away. $ 8 bucks to Green Point $35 to Madison Square gardens.

Overall, our stay in New York was great! The location was great. You had everything available at walking distance. Subway station, restaurants, bars, pharmacy, etc. it was great. With that said, we did encounter a few minor issues. Upon arrival, we looked for the lettering on the doors (they indicate the room assigned to u) and they were no where to be found. Ofcourse, I reached out to be pointed in the right direction and never heard back (till this day). I'm going to assume they were aware the issue was resolved...? A follow up would have been nice to confirm we were set though. Any who, since I didn't hear back, we just stayed in the room we thought was the correct one (The door was open and it looked available). Later that night, we heard a knock on the door and it was the girl who apparently takes care of the place (She's AMAZING, btw). Turns out, we were in the wrong room and we actually took over another couples assigned room (the reason was the issue was even brought up). We were told to just relax and move the following day since LUCKILY there was another room for the couple to stay in. We offered to move at that moment BUT (here's the issue) someone was staying in the room that we were assigned to check into that day and weren't scheduled to check out till the following day. So should all the other rooms be booked, what were we supposed to do that night since they somehow double booked!? Again, luckily thy didn't happen (which is why I'm giving it 4 stars) but it very well could have. It was kind of unsettling. Another thing to point out. The doors to the room do not lock. Now this is something that may be pretty minor but we're used to having a room that can be locked. Just for security or piece of mind. We didn't encounter any issues but also something I suggest. Lastly, you can really hear EVERYTHING. I read reviews stating that but disregarded. The walls are truly extra thin. Even when people are having phone convos, watching videos, etc., you can hear it. I will say, everyone was very quiet but I think it as kind of like sneaking back into your parents house after curfew. I was so concerned on not making noise and didnt even want the floor to creek. Other than that, it was good. Thanks to the live in host (I think her name was Hanna..??) it was great!
