The large, self-catering house has been our family getaway for many years. Its location cannot be beat, since it is about 100m to the beach and within walking distance to restaurants and bars. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space and the short walk to basically anything you may need. My place is good for families (with kids) and big groups who are looking for a simple, value for money stay.
The house is fully equipped with bedding (sheets, pillows and duvets), 2 fridges and a 210L deep freezer, crockery, microwave, kettle and gas stove.
There is a dining area and living room fully furnished. Outside you can enjoy the all-around varanda which has another long, wooden dining table coupled with braai facilities.
You will have the entire home to yourself and your guests, there's also ample parking on-site as we've had guests bring through charter boats.
Interaction with guests
Though I am not on-site, the staff are always available and willing to help. The staff has been taking care of the property for more than 15 years and we've only had rave reviews regarding their service. We will be more than happy to organize beforehand any items you may require in the hopes of making your stay as comfortable as possible.
Other things to note
Please bear in mind that you do need a 4x4 to reach Ponta do Ouro.
If you are coming from Kosi Bay border (Durban side) it is not a 24hr border.
- The house can actually accommodate 20 guests however there's a limit on AirBnb.
-Although we are centrally located and wish for everyone to have a good time, please be mindful of noise
- There's a guard and maid on-site, please feel free to negotiate with them shall you require additional services for an extra fee.
- Please note that for high season (school holidays, Easter and December) the rate is R3500 per night for the whole unit and minimum 5 day stay over New Years Or Christmas applies.
- Please contact me if you are a smaller group as another listing nearby can accommodate smaller groups.

love to plan my travels from scratch - to obtain a balance between seeing the most amazing locations, whilst staying away from 'tourist traps' to try and get as much of an authentic experience as possible.
Both my husband and I love to travel, having been to places like Brazil, Vietnam, Thailand, China, South Africa and Australia to name a few - we are open-minded and always interested in learning about cultures/societies whilst trying all the local food.
Life is too short, so go on a holiday!
