The space

You want to stay in central Sydney? And have space? And have peace and quiet. This apt has it all. A luxury remodel, space for all, and views of the harbour and treetops. A huge liveable balcony and eating and entertaining area.

It even has views of the city and FIREWORKS!!

The flat has air conditioning, but it rarely needs it with a nice cross breeze for most days in the summer.

I don't yet have a review on Airbnb, but also own Ocean Farm in Gerringong, so know what people want and have great reviews and experiences. Search for it on the web.

The unit has 2 big bedrooms so would be good for no more than 4 people (strictly enforced). The main bedroom is a luxury king sized bed with ensuite. The second bedroom is a Queen bed. The second bathroom is adjacent and is private to the second bedroom.

The guest bathroom is separate again.

We have underground parking and direct lift access and a security entrance

It is a quiet building with older wealthier residents. If you want a party house then this is not for you. If you want a nice place to stay with a wonderful view and a great sense of peace....then you will like my place. No smoking. No parties.

There are so many things to say about this property, and they are all positive. It starts when you first enter the flat and are greeted by the large expanse of a living room. This is dominated by the huge expanse of glass over looking a massive terrace and the most magnificent tree in the garden below. There are three large sofas to lounge around on but we spent most of my time on the terrace. The terrace is deep so you dont have much direct sunlight - a bonus as it means you dont end up getting friend in the Sydney sun but you still have a wonderful vista out to the harbour. It also means the lounge is flooded with natural light. There is a dining area on the terrace and this is where we ate nearly all of our meals, breakfast and dinner included. At the other end of the terrace is a seating area but we never seemed to use this much. Inside there is a further dining table, but again we didnt use it that much preferring to sit on the balcony. The kitchen is large and well equipped even down to a garlic press! The beds were really comfortable (better than my one at home) and the linen was just sumptuous - we really felt like we were being pampered. The building is very quiet, we never heard the neighbours. There is lovely art work on the walls which gave the feeling of this being the home of a friend, rather than a standard Airbnb. This is something which we really liked. We had a car, there is a car space with the flat. and so drove to collect groceries etc. If you didnt have a car its about a 10-15 min walk to the nearest shops. As you can no doubt ascertain from the tone of this review, we absolutely loved the place and will definitely be returning. It can best be summed up by saying that this is by far the best Airbnb I have stayed in.

Although we didn't meet Drew, he was helpful in giving us enough information to get going. He was also ameiable and fexible with our requests. The apartment is lovely. Very spaceous and airy. The veranda is fab, with leafy views and, again, loads of space. The area is quiet residential, but within easy reach of the centre by train, just 15 minutes. It is also in walking distance of Centennial Park (good for runners, walkers and wildlife watchers) and Queen St. Great for boutique shopping and cafe life. I would definately go there again. It is a perfect base from which to explore Sydney.

We loved staying at Drew's Woollahra flat. He had everything set up nicely for us upon arrival and was very responsive to everything we needed. It was in a lovely part of town, and the flat had all that we required for our week long stay. The building is set within a quiet area, although it was very easy to access busier areas as well. The extra balcony space was so nice to enjoy for dinner outside, and the kitchen was fully stocked with cooking equipment, appliances, and dishes enough for entertaining. The wifi was quite slow for us to use as we work a lot online, however it was manageable especially in the bedrooms where the signal is a bit stronger. Other than that, we would definitely recommend the flat and would gladly stay there again.

This place exceeded all of our expectations. It is in a great location - a residential feel but walking distance to a ton of great restaurants and bars in paddington. The apartment is spacious and well kept with an awesome patio and views of Sydney. We couldn't have been happier with our stay.

This is a magnificent place in a magnificent location. It is peaceful, tranquil and quiet and has every mod con you could possible want. The rooms are comfortable, balcony majestic and the whole experience was top notch. I would never again stay in a hotel in Sydney if Drew's place is available. You are walking distance from Double Bay, Edgecliff Stations, Woollahra Village, The Lord Dudley and Bond Junction.
