This classic viennese apartment is adjacent to Palaise Liechtenstein and five minutes from the first district. Nearby are the Freud Museum, Boerse (old austrian stock market), the Vienna Ring, The University of Vienna, and the Volksoper. The neighborhood is considered to be one of the nicest; known as "little paris" it's beautiful architecture and tree lined streets remind one of Paris. We have had photoshoots and films taken place in the apartment because of its special look and feel.
The apartment is located on the 3rd floor (which is actually the 5th floor) of a classic Viennese apartment building. It is very private, quiet, and has a lot of light since it is on a high floor.
The Bosendorfer Grand Piano, crystal chandeliers, artisanal hardwood floors and accents, remind one of another time. When one looks at apartments in vienna one will see that many are furnished with modern furnishings, we think that our classic/ antique style makes our apartment special. We have had several photographers and filmmakers rent our apartment exclusively for the purpose of filming there. In contrast to the antique style of the living quarters you will find that the newly renovated, fully stocked kitchen, with brand-new, top of the line modern appliances is a much welcomed new-addition to this otherwise classically styled apartment.
The bedroom sleeps 4 with two on the large round designer bed, and two others on what we find to be a very comfortable sofa bed. The front room which has been renovated in the spring of 2016 of the apartment has a brand new daybed which converts into two single beds. The separate living room and sleeping rooms means that guests can enjoy the large shared space of the apartment without disturbing those who wish to sleep.
Guests have access to the entire apartment aside from a few locked closets used for storage.
