This summer house is right on a beach that runs for miles, and is accessible only to residents. The house is a century old Maine cottage with three porches (one screened) a huge dining room, a sunroom, a living room, three bedrooms and a fourth separate cottage. It is a great summer house- spend all day at the beach, and cook dinner in the beautiful kitchen, and eat out on the screen porch.
For over a hundred years families have summered in this house. The kitchen is light and airy, with a hidden door behind a bookshelf to a bed room. It has a stove island, two sinks, and a large fridge and a drinks fridge. You can spend all day on the porch- there are two wicker seating areas, a screened in dining table seating 8, and a hammock at the end. There is a small fire place in the living room, and a huge stone fire place in the great room.
The entire house will be yours. There is parking for at least five cars, in a circular driveway. There is a front lawn that leads down to the sand, and a place to play outback. The local community runs a summer school a ten minute drive away offering day campers exploring, sailing, tennis and a summer play.
