The Nave Chapel, recently renovated to the highest standards, located in the centre of Lymington. A short stroll to the Quay and the many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants Lymington has to offer or walk along the stunning sea wall and salt marshes. A short drive will take you into the fabulous New Forest where there are an abundance of things to do in addition to beautiful walks, cycling, cafes and pubs. Perfect for couples and individuals, groups and families (young and old)

The space

The Nave was originally part of a 19th century Methodist Chapel which lying derelict for over 10 years has recently been restored by ourselves and is now offered as luxurious, boutique holiday let accommodation. We have retained as many original features as possible and complimented it with the latest designer finishes and the most comfortable beds. We do everything we can to make sure our guests have the best stay possible.

Guests have private access to the whole of The Nave, garden and parking spaces.

Interaction with guests

I live in Brockenhurst, a 10 minute drive away so although not on site, I am always at the end of the phone or happy to pop down whenever needed.

Other things to note

There is a small private garden to the rear of the Nave which is accessed from the front of the property and down a small walkway to the side of the church. Here there is a secure shed for storage of bikes etc and patio table and chairs for al fresco dining.
The Nave provides private parking for 2 cars, parked in a tandem arrangement (one behind each other), near to the property. There are also public car parks very close by should you require more parking.

What a place, even better than described or that the photos can do justice. Photos are a very accurate reflection but don't give you the sense of space you experience with such high ceilings and clever lighting. Bravo to the renovation architect and to the owners for such a high specification job. The type of fixtures and fittings one might find in a luxury home and very rare to find in a rental property. As described very close to the town (literally a couple of minutes and you're at the main crossroads) and easy to navigate around. Of course as the photos show it is on a main road so the only slight downside, if you're like me and like the windows open to sleep, is the traffic noise early in the morning, but easily remedied with earplugs. All of the other guests had no such problem, and during the day you don't notice at all. The kitchen set up is superb, and the amount of crockery, glassware utensils and even Nespresso Coffee machine is superb, even sharp knives! Of course there are tons of great restaurants and bars to choose from too! Really good beds and a myriad of pillows to choose from so you can each find one just right for you, very clever. We didn't use the garden so cannot comment on that but would not hesitate to recommend the whole place for a short or long stay. The very essence of Airbnb, a true home from home.
