Nice apartment in a great location. Miles is a great host providing great, clear communication and is quick to respond to questions and requests. The flat is well located for getting around central London. There is a hint of the smell of mold about which one might expect in an old building in London. The common space is comfortable and was large enough for our family of 4. The third bedroom is very small, but is okay for one kid or 2 very little kids. No microwave in the kitchen and a non-functioning tv if that matters. Overall, recommended for shorter stays.

The house is pretty clean and close enough to tube station. There is no bathroom on the main floor so the guests in the room on that floor has to go down to the basement to use the bathroom. The TV isn't working , which is fine, but the washing machine is not working either. Quite reasonable price.

I'll start with the positives. The location could not have been better. A five/ten minute walk to Marlyebone station meant a 25 minute trip to the center of London. The bathrooms were amazing, and had clearly been redone. Miles' instructions were very detailed. The bad: there was a smell of mold in one of the bedrooms. One of the bathroom doors was broken and thus didn't close, which meant we effectively had one bathroom. One of the bedroom doors didn't shut fully, so was super noisy. The dishwasher was broken. Miles responded that he would ask his plumber but never heard anything. The washing machine was broken, a fact that we didn't know upon arrival. The wifi never worked, despite help from Miles (which is less of a big deal than the last few issues but was still part of the original description of the apartment.) I can't stress enough that this apartment would be perfect if even three of the five issues were fixed. But to have all of them meant a three day stay was more trying than it should be. If you are interested make sure some of these issues are fixed and then I would recommend staying here.

Miles place is a very well located one, with modern furniture and intelligent use of the space available. I tried to contact Miles once, the company handling the property said they would get in touch and get an answer for the missing internet. we had some other issues, like a bathroom door which wasn´t closing, some heating issues, and a washing machine that didn´t work (not enough space to put powder), and even after that, there was no water getting inside the machine, so it didn´t work and we had to find a laundry nearby. there was no answer after all for the internet problem, I gave up reaching out for the other issues. the trains noise wasn´t bad after all, we could sleep very well. after the check out I got a message (through airbnb saying I didn´t leave the home, which was completely untrue). Up to now I don´t understand what happened, hope the cleaners have found the keys the way we were instructed to leave.
