Flat was perfect with everything you need, the only tiny issue is that the shower curtain is not long enough and the bathroom get wet when you shower. All in all fantastic place to stay with a local market every morning while also being within walking distance of the main tourist attractions with a tram station 2 minute walk if venturing further away.

Marija's apartment is ideally located to see the whole of Zagreb. It is close to the tram stop and the old town is walking distance - if you want to explore the city by foot. Although communication at times were difficult it is important to note that not everyone's first language is English. Be mindful of the fact that there is no AC which can cause some discomfort during summer months as it does get a bit hot. It is also located in quite a busy street which can cause some noise in the evenings. Be sure to communicate with Marija in advance, especially when the use of cellular data is not possible in a foreign country. Thank you for a lovely stay in Zagreb, Marija.

It's a very nice apartment that is very centric - perfect to discover the city center by foot. The communication with the host was perfect.

We enjoyed our stay at Marija's place. The studio was spacious and clean. The apartment is very close to the main square of Zagreb and everything was within a walking distance. Even though there was no AC and it was over 30 degrees Celsius outside, the apartment stayed nice and cool. The only downside was that the windows don't block the noise from the street and at times you could hear the traffic quite loudly. The apartment had everything we needed and we would definitely recommend it for anyone staying in Zagreb.

Marija's place was great to stay in. It was large and comfortable, and was well decorated. It also was in a good location and was minutes away from the centre of town. Marija was an easy contactable host and her friend checked us in, who was very helpful and kind despite the fact we were slightly late. Would recommend.

This apartment is set in a residential area that at times could be quite noisy. Having said this it is ideally placed to reach the centre of the city. You can do this by a 20 min walk or catch a tram running from the bottom of the road. The apartment is functional but lacks air conditioning and gets very hot around this time of year (June). We could not have the window open at night because of the traffic. The lady who let us into the apartment could not really give a lot of information, as an example she could not recommend any good restaurants as she said she never ate out. The WiFi code was in the apartment but she did not know which router it was. Through trial an error we found that out but the password which was written in upper case had to be input in lower case. Once again we found out through trial and error. One of the reasons, we chose this, other than proximity was the fact it said it had parking. When we asked the lady greeting us if it was ok to park in the side road she did not know. As a consequence when we got up in the morning there was a ticket on the car. Not speaking Croatian it to a little bit of translating at the local cafe where the very nice owner informed us we could park in the streets but had to buy a 24 hr ticket for 60Kr. The ticket we had had to be paid at the post office. Had the parking warden wanted he could have issued a fine, I think it was our holiday plates that saved us. We did feel a bit out on a limb as the lady greeting us said if there were any problems then to contact the host, some 200 miles away. Luckily there was not an emergency that needed attention straight away as when we did contact her we did not get a reply for 8 hrs. I am not criticing her for this we are all busy, what I am saying is that there was no immediate point of contact. Having said all of this the apartment was clean, fresh towels and for the price good value.
