Stone's throw from the best of LA:
Pasadena (Rose Bowl, Art Center College of Design) Downtown LA
Hollywood & the Hollywood Bowl
Universal Studios Theme Park & City Walk
Hiking: literally across the street in the beautiful arroyo, crossing into the Angeles National Forest. We live in the tall pines so it's very quiet and beautiful here, and still 15-20 minutes down the hill to downtown LA.
Ideal for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
Entering from the street through a pretty iron gate, you walk by the pool to a private entry of double French doors. There you will find a very comfy Arts and Crafts space, with a nod to the Southwest using favorite Pendleton blankets. The queen bed is covered with a down comforter wrapped in a clean white duvet changed for every new guest, along with four pillows. Snuggling there, you can watch a smart TV with cable, Netflix . Sit a spell in the Stickley rocker and enjoy the fire in the gas log fireplace. There is an 8 drawer dresser, and a desk with a swivel chair. In the oak cupboard wall, you will find a closet for hanging clothes, and behind another door, a small fridge and microwave. You'll also find wineglasses, silverware, plates and bowls. Bottled water, orange juice, muffins, trail bars and chips and even a couple of microwave popcorn packets are stocked. A Keurig is provided, along with coffee and tea. (You will not starve here!) The good-sized en suite bathroom is divided into two rooms; the vanity, sink and mirror, and opening another door, a large enclosed shower and john. Makes it easy to share! Enjoy an early morning coffee at the little table and chairs right outside your door. All this makes makes staying longer much easier and comfortable!
If your stay is a longer one and you need a washer/dryer, you are most welcome to use ours. You are also welcome to enjoy the large deck that overlooks the pool and the Angeles Crest Forest directly across the street. The deck is a nice place to sit and read the morning news while sipping coffee, I think!
