We had a very easy time with our communication with Johnson. The apartment is in a good location, very close to the city bikes and Stanley Park. The problem is, we spent just as much money to stay here as we would have spent if we had stayed at a beautiful hotel. That would have been fine if there was air conditioning and clean new towels. There are broken light fixtures and a melted lamp shade. The apartment is very loud from the street noise. I've been asked to not write a review but I wish I had read an accurate one before I had booked it.

The apt is in a great neighborhood. Amenities were sparse. Furnishings were in poor condition. One of the two chairs on the deck was broken; the chairs (2) in the dining room had springs that were coming out; bench in entryway was sagging with no support. The outdoor decks were really dirty. Lighting in living room was very poor. TV had AppleTV which required a paid account. No instructions provided for any electronic equipment. In the master bedroom there was a light fixture that had one shade which was melted and some odd hanging fixtures above the window that did not work A good amenity was a washer/dryer but the dryer took a very long time to dry a load of laundry. Again, no instructions. The hair dryer made a shrill noise when used and smelled of smoke at higher heat settings. Host offered to replace it but failed to do so. Particularly from the master bedroom there was a lots of traffic and street noise. Apartment was very hot. Fans were provided but did little to alleviate heat though helped drown out the street noise. Clearly unwelcome in the building with signage prohibiting Airbnb. We were told in our email instructions that the neighbor had a new baby thus the need to be quiet. Yet a sign in the master bedroom said the neighbor was elderly and therefore we needed to be quiet. We were asked to not review or speak to anyone all of this made for a negative experience.

A great place to stay right in Coal Harbour. You're close to Stanley Park and can walk to attractions like Gastown (15 minutes). Driving is also easy from here if you have a car. Very large two bedroom unit with lots of room for your family and friends. Large living room and kitchen too. Johnson made all the check-in and check-out as smooth as possible.
