Our cabin is close to family-friendly activities, restaurants and dining, and great views. It's good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and possibly for furry friends (pets). Let's discuss you specific pet situation before booking to determine if you're pets are a good fit for the cabin.
The cabin is an 1800 sq. ft. two story in Tahoe Donner. The sleeping configuration is:
Bedroom 1: (downstairs) queen bed and a crib
Bedroom 2: (upstairs) queen bed
Bedroom 3: (upstairs) queen bed, twin bed
Small loft: 2 twin trundle beds.
Bathroom 1: off the hall leading to Bedroom 1 -- shower
Bathroom 2: between the two upstairs bedrooms -- shower.
Kitchen: fully equipped with about 16 place settings and all the pots, pans, etc you're likely to need.
We have a large wood burning stove in the main living area, and you're welcome to use it. There's wood on the front porch. The home also has central gas heat.
You'll have access to the whole home, but keep in mind that we also use the cabin so there'll be limited closet and drawer space. You're welcome to use the winter gloves and clothing in the upstairs cedar chest but please return what you borrow.
We are in Tahoe Donner and have two guest passes that provide discounts for the TD facilities, including the pools, ski area, tennis courts and fitness areas. Additional folks are also welcome to use the amenities -- they just pay the standard fees.
Interaction with guests
We're available by mobile or email most of the time. We'll make sure you have at least 2 phone numbers so you're almost certain to reach us.

Lynne and I love to tour by motorcycle whenever possible, and use the Tahoe cabin as a first stop on many of our trips. We've traveled through much of western US and Canada, and hope to push our rides further east (and hopefully to Europe) over the coming years. We've had a great vacation if we've learned something about what it's like to live in the towns or regions we're visiting. As hosts, we want you to thoroughly enjoy yourselves while staying at our cabin. Please let us know what we can do to help.
We're avid ice hockey fans and (not very good) players. You're also likely to catch us watching SF Giants baseball pretty regularly. Skiing, hiking and (for Lynne) roller derby are also near the top of our lists.
