We were 2 couples and a father and adult daughter. We were very comfortable. Kitchen has everything and more. Beds were comfortable. Living room with big comfy furniture. Very quiet and peaceful setting. Highly recommend it.

I don't want to tell anyone how great this cabin is because then it will not be available. The kitchen has everything a cook could want or need. There is plenty of space for everybody to play games or quietly read a book. If you need to get in touch with Joh he answers immediately. We had such a great time and highly recommend staying here.

It's a pleasant stay, the cabin can fit up to 8 or 9 ppl. John is very nice and responds quickly to questions and offers clear instructions.

Fantastic home and welcoming host! We stayed here with 8 adults and had plenty of space, but it's very child-friendly (baby gates on the stairs, child-proofing of the cabinets). This is clearly a family's home which is well taken care of and loved. We appreciated the full spice cabinet for cooking, ample towels, and extra pillows and bedding. The location was great. Quiet neighborhood but still close to town. We were close to Alpine, Squaw, Sugar Bowl, and Northstar. John, our host, was super! His communication before and after was stellar, particularly given the unusual amount of snow and sketchy road conditions. He made sure we were well-informed and had everything we needed once we got there. We would definitely stay there again!

John was an outstanding host. He kept us updated on everything we needed to know. He was helpful and gracious and thoughtful. The house was cozy and comfortable and just as a Tahoe cabin should be. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook, and there was loads of sleeping options. We have 4 kids, and there was plenty of space for everyone! The driveway was plowed the morning we arrived. The home is right around the corner from Tahoe Donner, which is where we like to ski. My family highly recommends John's home!

Lynne and I love to tour by motorcycle whenever possible, and use the Tahoe cabin as a first stop on many of our trips. We've traveled through much of western US and Canada, and hope to push our rides further east (and hopefully to Europe) over the coming years. We've had a great vacation if we've learned something about what it's like to live in the towns or regions we're visiting. As hosts, we want you to thoroughly enjoy yourselves while staying at our cabin. Please let us know what we can do to help.

We're avid ice hockey fans and (not very good) players. You're also likely to catch us watching SF Giants baseball pretty regularly. Skiing, hiking and (for Lynne) roller derby are also near the top of our lists.
