Where you’ll be

Golden, British Columbia, Canada

Cliffside is located on a unique acreage, 10 minutes West of Golden, British Columbia; the cabin itself is perched above the glacial Blaeberry River and looks out onto the Rocky Mountains through the trees.

Please note, the cabin backs onto the work area of International Timberframes; there are workers present Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm as well as three neighbouring properties, one of which hosts weddings in the summer; the cabin is also in close proximity to an audible train crossing, as well as the local shooting range. Needless to say, there can be some disturbances during your stay; if you are sensitive to noise, Cliffside may not be your best option.

Despite that disclaimer, many guests note how peaceful their stay is as, the cabin is surprisingly private & quiet, tucked into a wooded area that opens up to a field with a spectacular Rocky Mountain view. With the added benefit of being close to the main highway, getting in and out for daily adventures, or stopping on your way through to destinations further afield, access is quick and easy from the main highway when you stay Cliffside.

Our dream of owing our own little piece of paradise came true in 2015 when we walked around Cliffside once and knew right then and there that it was meant to be our forever home.

Along with our purchase came a small, perfectly situated cabin for friends and family to stay; over the years the cabin has been renovated and designed to be an idyllic home away from home for travellers as well.

We look forward to hosting your Cliffside stay; it's our way of sharing, and getting even more enjoyment out of, our little piece of paradise.
