This is a great cabin! We were 40 minutes from Traverse city and a little over and hour to Mackinaw Island! The back yard view is so peaceful. It is a gem inside!!!

This was my first time using airbnb. The hosts communicated back very promptly. The place was very well located. Despite being close to a major thoroughfare, we hardly ever heard any traffic noise when inside the house. There were convenient eating places close by. The house was very clean, and just as described. We checked in at about 10 pm, and were having trouble locating the house as everything near the main road was very dark. We really appreciated the lights they left on inside the house, as that was very comforting to enter and helped direct us to the house. It was delightful sitting outside in the morning where we had our morning tea/coffee. The water jug/dispenser provided in the house was very useful as the water had a strong smell and taste.

Basic cabin about 15 minutes from Shorts Brewery and about 40 minutes from Traverse. Much cheaper than the overpriced hotels of Traverse City. Very clean interior space.

Kevin and Jadey were fantastic hosts! Although we did not make contact with them during our stay, they were very gracious, even allowing us to an extra guest at the last minute to the original number on our booking. The cabin was just as described, clean, spacious, with lots of kitchen space and utensils. I would stay here again, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodations in the area. Thanks for a great stay!

Cute little cabin, peaceful, nothing to do but unplug, relax, and enjoy the woods and cozy living space. There is probably well water here, it's not really potable and has an acrid smell, but the hot/cold filtered water dispenser was a great feature in that case. I could imagine this being excellent for a hunting or glamping trip.

We are a young family with two boys. We love living in Michigan and taking advantage of all the four seasons activities. We hope you enjoy a stay at our little getaways.
