Westwood, a 1935 bungalow, is two doors down from Dutch Fisher Park in an established neighborhood and connected to town centers by Waynesville's Greenway Trail. Take the sidewalk or forest trail to Main Street, Frog Level or Hazelwood Village's restaurants and shops. Enjoy the convenience of in-town living with the serenity and views the large lawn has to offer. Farmer's Branch, a live willow tree bridge and mountain views from the front porch make Westwood an in-town dream.

The front yard borders Westwood Circle with city sidewalks and mountain views. The back yard is spacious and serene and includes a separate dog lot with shelter. A serene "garden room" made up of Farmer's Branch, picnic table, fire pit and natural willow bridge is at the very back of the lawn.
Interaction with guests
We live locally and are happy to assist guests with anything.
Maximum Occupancy: 2-person maximum at all times . Guests will restrict occupancy to the 2- person limit at all times. If guests exceed occupancy limits, this will result in immediate eviction, loss of refundable damage deposit and all rent will be forfeited.
Westwood is situated in close proximity to Farmer's Branch which has rushing water of variable depths.
There is NO lifeguard.
SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. It is advised to use life vest at all times; one small, medium and large life vest is provided and can be found in the cabana. All children must be supervised by an adult when nearing or
entering the water. The grounds to the creek are uneven due to natural and manmade disturbances. People should exhibit great care in this area.
Absolutely no hosting of events, house parties, bridal showers, baby showers, youth groups, fraternities, sororities,
weddings, receptions, or parties allowed. We do not rent to persons under the age of 25 years of age, even if a parent or legal adult makes the reservation and/or pays the rent. If such a group attempts to occupy the property, without written approval, all monies will be forfeited and guests will be asked to vacate the property immediately.

Live music can be heard at the Wine Cellar off Main Street; Dancing at the Stompin' Ground in Maggie Valley.

Horseback riding can be found at Cataloochee Ranch, beside Cataloochee Ski Resort, as well as Queens Stables in Maggie Valley. Both are approximately 30 minutes away.
Harrah's Cherokee Casino 45 minutes.
Drive just 30 minutes to checkout downtown Asheville, NC. Take the Patton Avenue exit and park on Rankin Ave in public parking garage. Walk any directions to shops, cafes, restaurants, breweries, candy stores and book stores.
Check-in is at 3pm, no earlier unless you have made arrangements with us at least 48 hours in advance. Checkout is promptly at 11am.
If you are to leave and do not expect to return before dark, please remember to switch exterior lights on located at front and back doors.
