If you are traveling up from Auckland via Kerikeri / Waipapa State Highway 10 and you need groceries you may want to stop at Coopers Beach 4 Square. If traveling to the Karikari Peninsula via Kaitaia State Highway 1 Kaitaia Pak N Save will see you right. If it's close to dinner 6.00pm 7.00pm you could call into Mangonui Harbour side Village and have Fish N Chips at the World Famous Fish N Chips Shop over the water or the Fresh N Tasty Fish N Shop right next to the Historical Mangonui Hotel, a couple of cool places to dine. If coming to the Karikari Peninsula through Kaitaia there are a number of eateries to dine at in the Kaitaia township. Most people from Auckland come to the Karikari Peninsula via Kerikeri / Waipapa State Highway 10 route.

We are pretty laid back type of people. But in saying that we take the needs of our guests seriously, and do our best to make their stay with us an awesome one. We will go the extra yard within reason. In our spare time we love listening to music, with CCR and Led Zeplin being some of our all time favourite groups, and you cant beat sitting down to a good movie, Breaking Bad, The Bridge, The Killing, Treme, just to name a few. When it comes to food Katalina is a great chef and we so do enjoy fresh fish and chips especially if we have caught the fish. Hey but in saying that Katalina loves Thai food and never gives up a chance to sit down at a Thai Restaurant. We dont really have any hard and fast house rules. You know the old saying "treat people the way you would like to be treated" That word respectful comes to mind.
