We call our space the loft because of the lofted bedroom. Modern and rustic with games inside & adventure outside. Tucked against a mountain, yet only 22 Miles from Burlington. Sexy and unique; use this spot as your adventure base camp. While in the space you will love the unique design that invites you to feel inspired. Outside you'll be just a short walk or ski from skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, w) Burlington and Waterbury close by. Enjoy the family friendly outdoor community.

The space
Our space is a very open concept. The main bedroom is separated from the main living space with glass windows overlooking the kitchen and dining areas. The second sleeping space has a curtain separating it from main living space with a bunk bed (one double size futon bed and a single on top).

SOME PERKS...
Reliable fiber internet, Fireplace, swim holes,
Ping pong. Ringo. DVD, VCR and 80's movies
Coffee beans and tea provided.
Ski in, ski out. Hike in, hike out.
Resort life out your door. Rustic life.

This ski loft is the bottom two floors of a tall townhouse originally designed and built by Peter Gluck and then interior designed and built by Après Design & Investments (my own company). We love it and we think you will too!

Guest access
-fast internet connection.
-Smart TV where you can access your apps.
-Quick, friendly host if needed.
-DVD and ski video collection.
-There is a tree fort down a path, across the creek. Perfect for letting the kids feel alone (although you can hear them from the house)!
-Hidden deck overlooking the creek where you can relax or wade in the water.

Other things to note
- Slippers please! Although you'll still be cozy without them, our space is industrial with some concrete flooring, and we love hanging out in slippers, so you may too!

- It's always about 5-10 degrees colder on the mountain than down in the valley (which is why we get the good snow!) so please bring all your cozy, warm clothes if coming in fall or winter.

- Although there is sound proofing between the floors and walls you can hear your neighbors on occasion. The building is a townhouse - a group of 4 residences.

- the second bedroom is not traditional bedroom but more of a sleeping space. There is no door to shut or lock - just a curtain. This hasn’t been an issue for guests but please be aware!

- Check Bolton Valley Resort before you arrive. The resort has an indoor pool, sauna, and gym among other amenities. You are walking distance to all. Always check the snow report for WIND hold (which means the lifts may not be running).

Neighbourhood highlights

Bolton Valley is a special place. Summer is beautiful, filled with out your door biking, swimming holes, disc golf, wood-fired pizza, and berry picking. Fall is breathtaking with hiking, foliage, and cider. Winter is vibrant with live music in the Tavern, mountain sports (including night skiing until 10pm!), friends, and events. Spring brings rushing water from the Joiner Brook and some of the best spring skiing around. Often people agree the best part of Bolton Valley is the feeling of remoteness and an outdoor-enthusiastic community, while being close to some of the best restaurants in Vermont. We agree!
