It located in the middle of medina, and deeply inside the alley. Although it might be a little bit hard to find, it's worthy for me. The house and the room are beautiful and cosy, not to mention the perfect terrace. Also the stuffs are hospitality. I had really great time there.

Although the location was hard to find, the host picked us up at 7:00 a.m. after a 10 hours bus time. The hostel was historical and beautiful, the room was large and cozy, wifi ran well, though the light indoor was a little bit too dark. With a balcony on the roof, there's beautiful scene of the whole Fés city. The host treated us well, prepared a big breakfast for us, we really enjoyed it.

Lovely traditional riad. I was picked up from the airport and made to feel very welcome. I stayed on the top floor; wonderful room that opened onto the terrace and gave an amazing panoramic view of Fes. Good breeze in the evening too. If Rita is around and your French / Arabic isn't great, you're in luck as she speaks excellent English - a big thanks for the conversation and instructions on how to get a CTM bus to Chefchaouen. The steps in the riad are steep but 100% manageable. Breakfast is from (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) but they let me eat at 0830 the morning I left no problem. I really enjoyed my time at Dar Tamo; everyone I spoke to in the medina spoke highly of the place too.

Karim and the others were very sweet and accommodating. They came to fetch us from the plaza and made sure we knew how to navigate around the Medina. On our last night, he helped us buy our train tickets back to Casablanca online. The only thing is that the AC was not working, otherwise we would be back again!

Overall nice stay at this riad! Well located being somewhat next to gate (for taxis) andsigns to help find it in the crazy medina. The room was spacious with good AC and the host was helpful with questions.

Do NOT stay at this riad. We had our MONEY STOLEN here. When we went out that day, we had locked our room for sure. However upon arrival we found our door opened. Immediately we checked our money, which was kept in a zipped pocket of a pair of shorts. We held 3 currencies and found a portion of each currencies had been stolen, ~500€ in total. It was so discreet that we would not have known if we didn't count the money. We then talked to the owner Karim, but his attitude was far from helpful. He questioned if the stealing really happened, even told us right at the beginning "do not waste time in the inspection". Also, he had refused going to the police with us, by telling us he is not a licensed guide. Moreover, Karim never gave us the key to the entrance of the riad despite our request. This means when the guests are gone, Karim would have full control of the riad as he would be the only person left. Eventually we spent the night hopping between 3 police stations in 8 sleepless hours. Karim's family who runs the riad was kind enough to promise giving us a copy of the police statement for our insurance, which should be ready in a week, but FAILED to respond to our messages or provide the documents ever since then. DO NOT STAY AT THIS RIAD. The neighbourhood is too sketchy - small dirty alleys full of unfriendly people. Never make yourself a target of discreet stealing.
