We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Okan's house, the perfect situation for us to stay in Famagusta. A short distance from both the centre of the walled city (and the wonderful patisserie Petek), and the beach for our daily swim and a short walk out to the new town, just outside the city gate, for the Thursday market and the very good restaurant Minder. Okan was an incredibly helpful host; our plane was delayed on arrival and he kindly rearranged a later taxi for us from the airport, he was always friendly and hospitable and replied immediately to answer any questions we had during the trip. The house is comfortable and well equipped and the courtyard charming with all the plants and a lovely cool spot to be in on a hot day.

This is a great place to stay for a couple of days. Right in the middle of the walled city it's not difficult to find and parking is easy despite the narrow streets. We only used the upstairs bedroom which was great, a little bright first thing in the morning if you need a pitch black room to sleep in... but with an eye-mask no problem. You probably won't use the sitting room as the courtyard is large and well hidden from the neighbours. Charming place and adds to the feel of the city. I'd happily stay there again.

Okan met us as we entered the walled city to show us the way to the house. A lovely historical house, small but beautifully formed. The access to the upstairs double bedroom and lounge is by outside steps, the twin room and kitchen are on the ground level. The house is clean and adequately furnished and equipped. It is a few minutes walk to the centre of the Walled City" Although the house is on a narrow street you are able to park outside the house. We would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Okan's lovely historical house in Famagusta. We wanted somewhere which was private, where we could relax and which was central for getting around and that's just what we got! The house has a gorgeous courtyard with orange trees where we ate and often sat in the deckchairs catching the last afternoon rays! Okan recommended the best places to eat in Famagusta and we were not disappointed! Thank you for a fantastic stay in Famagusta, I'm sure we will be back x

Okan's place is amazing. It is perfectly situated inside the wall city, so all sights of the historical city of Famagusta as well as plenty of retaurants are close-by, but it's still close to the main roads outside the wall city. There are two bikes, which can be used to explore the area. Okan himself is a really great host and he will help you with literally everything he can. Finally, you will enjoy the beautiful yard with its plants and trees, where you will be able to relax and forget the time.

Lovely quiet situation in the heart of the old city. Okan our host is welcoming and very helpful. I would stay again, Great for 3 or 4 nights to explore beaches in Iskele and the Karpaz and experience the old city. North Cypriots are very friendly and easy going. Rate 10/10
