MOST POPULAR HOLIDAY DESTINATION IN THE SAIMAA LAKE DISTRICT
We are pleased to offer you our rustic, luxuriously-furnished KELO Log Cabin made of precious silver pine. The cabin with its own sauna and jetty is situated right at the shore of Finland's clearest lake!
Guests between 1 and 83 years of age from more than 30 nations, from all continents, have so far chosen to stay at our lovely cabins!
Check-in as per agreement with us – the day before arrival the latest.
The cabin was built in summer 2017 and is the only one of its kind in the Saimaa Lake District. What makes it very special is that the building logs come from the region around the Arctic Circle, where they have grown for over 500 years.
Please read through our entire cabin description carefully so as to avoid unjustified criticism later.
The cabin is suitable for one to four people (2 adults + 2 children) and conveniently located by the lake. Both the exterior and interior have been designed in a style typically found only in Lapland.
Running drinking water. Sauna, shower, WC, kitchenette, fireplace and a big terrace under the same roof. The double bed is generously sized with dimensions of 2.05m x 1.60m. For details, please refer to the photo gallery.
When assessing the value for money for your stay at our cabins, please take into consideration that 33% of the rental income goes directly to the Finnish tax authorities. In addition, the costs for utilities, snacks and drinks, and the hosts' portion of the Airbnb service fees amount to at least 25%.
Furthermore, no other listing in our region offers such an extensive all-inclusive package as ours.

What is KELO?
Kelo is a centuries-old silver pine that has dried out whilst standing. The material is characterised by a silver-grey shimmering patina. This kelo cabin was built by Finnish company Finimex, the worldwide leader in the manufacture of exclusive kelo wood contructions, such as saunas and other recreational buildings. Typical customers of the company are five-star hotels, luxury spas and wellness resorts.

In order to be able to rent our cabins to people with allergies, we do not accept pets on our premises.

Damp towels and wet clothes are to be placed only on the racks or hooks provided for these, not on the wooden furniture in the cabin.
