With everything you need on one floor for integrated modern living, the minor bedrooms are all set along the right wing of the house away from the master bedroom at the front. The home is comprised of four bedrooms, two bathrooms, including ensuite to master and double lock up garage. You can relax in peace, hang out in the home theatre or wander through the large kitchen and dining area to the family room and rumpus. Rest assured, this accommodation has got it all covered. From the recessed-ceiling feature, double oven, butler’s pantry and generous serving space on the breakfast bar, to the integrated access to the dining room, lounge and alfresco, the kitchen is perfectly positioned, generously proportioned and flooded in natural light.
The open-plan kitchen, family and dining area acts as a buffer to the quiet zone at the front of the home, which includes a light-filled study and home theatre, as well as the main bedroom, complete with large walk-in robe and generous ensuite with double vanity.
The kids’ bedrooms, all with built-in robes, are contained off their own hallway adjoining the main living area. They share a bathroom and separate toilet.
A rumpus room, with dual access from the bedrooms and living area, ensures the kids have a space to relax, watch television and study.
Interaction with guests
As little or as much as required. Having worked at the Hyatt on Collins for a number of years, I understand hospitality. Also, having travelled extensively for over 30 years, I am very familiar with the needs of the traveller and how to make their stay comfortable. Situated in Melbourne’s southeastern suburbs, Berwick Waters is a unique community with extensive wetlands and green open spaces creating the ideal environment.
A wide range of parks and playgrounds are scattered throughout the development providing the perfect setting for kids to play and explore, while shared BBQ facilities and picnic areas are great for social occasions. The development also offers a range of sports grounds and facilities as well as 9km of walking and cycling paths.
Only minutes away is Eden Rise Shopping Centre which features Coles, Aldi and over 20 retail outlets in total.
Berwick is also host to a number of regular markets. The Akoonah Park Market is held every Sunday and offers craft, fresh produce, clothes and bric-a-brac. The Casey Farmers Market is held at the Old Cheese Factory on Homestead Road on the fourth Saturday of each month, with around 30 stalls of fresh food and produce, direct from the grower.
Also, Fountain Gate Shopping Centre is just 10km away, with over 300 specialty stores, a restaurant precinct and a fully-equipped cinema complex.
Whilst we are a family-friendly property, if you have children staying on our property, you are responsible for their safety. So, please supervise your children at all times and please make sure they do not damage our property. Any damage to the property or contents will need to come from the Security Deposit. Please switch off ALL lights (inc. heat lamps) when you leave the room each day, lock all doors and close all windows.
Do not leave heat lamps on if you are not using them as they are expensive to run.
Do not put hot items (i.e pots, pans, kettle, cups, etc.) on the kitchen bench or furniture. Cork mats are provided
Do not stain upholstery (i.e. sofas) with food or drink
No pets allowed in case any future guests who book with us have allergies to pet hair. Prefer quiet after midnight as we live in a quiet neighbourhood and we respect our neighbours. Prefer no cooking after midnight. Prefer washing of clothes during the day. Also, water is precious, so please ensure all taps are turned off properly when finished with and please limit shower times to a reasonable time limit.
Please remove shoes inside house to prevent scratching our beautiful timber floor. Note: Slippers are provided
It is a family-friendly place and we are looking for considerate people who will be respectful of the home and its quality furniture, contents, fixtures and fittings, our neighbours, facilities and House Rules for the enjoyment of future Airbnb Guests also.
Jenny and I have decorated our home to ensure the comfort of all guests so we are looking for guests who will respect and appreciate the decor and furnishings, thus making it an enjoyable experience for all future guests.
Loud music is not allowed to be played outside or inside the home, except soft background music. The booking is for accommodation only, not as a function venue. If this is not adhered to, the Security Deposit will be deducted from the Reservation.
On leaving the property:
- Please ensure all doors and windows are closed and/or locked (if applicable)
- We manage the dirty linen (i.e. sheets and towels) so you do not need to wash linen or strip or re-make beds.
- The heating/cooling should be turned off
- All lights need to be turned off
- Ensure all plates, dishes, cutlery and any other items used from the kitchen, are washed in the dishwasher and returned to cupboards (as you found them).
A final reminder, please don't bring other people into the home without the knowledge and consent of the Hosts. Thank you
