My place is CAMBRIDGE located in Cainta along the East Bank Rd near Pasig. It is a 30 to 45 min ride to folkloric Rizal towns of Antipolo, Angono, Binangonan, Tanay and Marikina (Philippine Shoe capital)
SHOPPING, dining, cinema to Tiendesitas, Megamall/Shaw or Ortigas Centre are 1 FX ride (P30-P45), about 6-9 km away.
My unit is good for couples small barkada or family and solo adventurers.
A charming and homey lofted 40sqm. condo unit that has been carefully interiored and furnished.
My unit has 1 BR with 2 single beds (one is super single, 48 inches, while the pullout bed is single, 36 inches), 1 full T&B with heated shower, small but functional kitchen with complete quality cooking facilities & implements & sets of cookware and dinnerware.
The living area enjoys a view of the estate common pool. Fully air-conditioned, BR at the 2nd level (window type) & the lower loft living area (split type AC).
Has dedicated space for both study and TV/DVD area.
No cable but with local channels (with TV plus) only. There is a small TV set in the bedroom (no cable nor TV plus (yet) in here.
GLOBE WIFI BROADBAND available at 10mbps speed. Over and above my unit's WIFI BROADBAND, pocket or mobile wifi device can be provided UPON ADVANCED REQUEST and with SECURITY DEPOSIT. Guests need to load or tap up themselves based on their own usage requiremen - device only which will be returned to host in good condition upon refund of security deposit.
Place is clean, well- equipped and orderly so, I will love guests who will respect my place, keep it clean and orderly too and will thoughtfully conserve energy and electricity given that my rental rate is already reasonable esp compared to other units in the market of the same standard and inside amenities.. These are my foremost requirements.
I or my representative would personally welcome guests for the key and the orientation to my unit.
Upon check out, guests will be assisted for the return of the key and the refund of deposit, if there are no losses or damages to the unit.
The estate has 24/7 security, & CCTV cameras in common areas. Each building has roaming guards assigned, thus, no much worries when it comes to safety within the estate.
The place is very private, no outsider can easily enter without being accosted by security. But I officially register guest names with the admin & security.
NO SHOWS ON BOOKED NIGHTS ARE FORFEITED NIGHTS STAY AND HOST WILL NOT BE OBLIGED TO REPLACE THESE w/ ANOTHER NIGHT/S STAY.
Interaction with guests
I will not be around during your entire stay except during check in and check out only welcome and key return; guests can enjoy their own privacy.
The unit is exclusive to the booked guest/ s. Extra guests will have to be declared for security reasons. It's really a matter of transparency and trust.

1) SMART LTE POCKET WIFI for use during entire stay at my place. Device only; guest to load on their own. Return in good condition after I refund guests' security deposit. Pls note fir need to REQUEST IN ADVANCE SO I WILL BRING IT UPON CHECK IN. PLDT DSL BROADBAND ALSO AVAILABLE
2)Airport transfers (van) are available for a rate of php 1,700 one way VAN transfer.
Rizal Province is the Philippines' premier province. It is the nearest province to Metro Manila. Rizal is very progressive and yet still on the conservative side. But it boasts of interesting tourists destinations, mostly mountain trekking and climbing, River rafting, waterfalls, mountain view, farms, culinary experiences, crafts, artists village where famous painters come from, and great rustic and tiangge shopping experience (Taytay Bagging Palengke), etc.
Cainta is more of an urban residential place relative to other parts of the province but not as urbanized or cosmopolitan as Makati or Manila City.
Our.place is CAMBRIDGE VILLAGE CONDOMINIUM along the floodway or the East River Bank, boundary of Pasig in the east. As I said, please do not expect a sophisticated community but just a simple and modest one where people are doing their daily chores to stay happy and survive.
Curfew hours for 18 years old and below are observed outside of Cambridge Village condo to ensure peace and order (10pm to 5 am)
No shows on booked nights are considered FORFEITED and will not be replaced by another night unless the reasin us vskid and unavoidable. I can accommodate.
- Being an Asian house, as a gesture of respect, I am asking ALL MY GUESTS to REMOVE their street footwear before entering my humble unit.
- Small and decent parties are allowed but not rowdy or destructive guests as the community is generally quiet except when there is basketball game. I am also very careful with my things and belongings bought from hard-earned earnings and thus, I will be happy to have guests who share the same habits and standards.
- No smoking and definitely no prohibitive drugs, no pets please.
- The unit is generally clean, fully furnished wd custom-made furniture so owner requests order, cleanliness and NO destruction of furnishings and appliances.
- Pls keep mother nature happy by proper disposable of rubbish and the conservation of electricity, esp the aircons. Mornings.
are usually cool so may be good to switch off ACs.
-please switch off the gas tank after each use
- one time cleaning fee is required at php 550 as we send all linens and towels to the laundry after every guest stay plus a thorough clean up of the entire place. This is already incorporated in the Airbnb invoice.
-On a daily basis, guests take care of cleaning during their stay, unless they request for the services of a house cleaner, but for a reasonable fee.
- Guests are free to use all appliances, utensils and amenities, as necessary and with CARE.
-Deposit (php6500) is required but easily refundable by host if unit and things are found in order upon check out.
Sometimes, there are local guests who, in spite of the Detailed DESCRIPTION AND PHOTOS of my unit, will still need to INSPECT OR VIEW THE PLACE BEFORE DECIDING TO BOOK.
This process is not normally included in the Airbnb dynamics BUT to give in to the request of the guest and out of goodwill, will probably accommodate but with conditions
GIVEN That the price per night of stay is already very reasonable and the information given in my dashboard including pictures and descriptions are more or less sufficient, FOR THE EFFORT INCL. TIME, GAS AND /OR TRANSPO FEE, please understand that I need to charge the potential guest php 500 (upfront) FOR THE OCULAR TO BE PAID ON SITE TO ME ON THE DAY OF THE OCULAR ITSELF. This is however 60 percent refundable if booking is done.
Since this process is still outside of Airbnb, also required is a registration with the condo security and a Government or company ISSUED ID to be shown in the presence of the condo security before entering the premises.
I am also requesting STRICT PROMPTNESS during MEET UPS FOR CHECK IN, unless pre announced.
From Dec 16 - 31, 2017 the minimum stay is 3 nights.
I just early retired from the Philippine Tourism Promotions Board. This gives me plenty of extra time and energy which I do not want to waste by just sitting around at home and watching TV. Neither do I want to waste my modest government retirement money shopping and gallivanting. Thus, I took some university teaching load, a little consultancy on marketing travel packages to the Philippines and I also do marketing and selling of condominium units.
Hosting or hospitality is no stranger to me actually but this is my first time to get into the AIRBNB hosting bandwagon, just last November 2016. Although I have a few times rented out my condo unit to friends and their trusted referrals. I think I would enjoy hosting through AIRBNB as it is more organized and worldwide in scope.
I also like meeting people.

As your host, I go for service first. In the first place, one cannot really make a killing from Airbnb because there are service and price protocols or ethics that hosts and guests should abide with. Thus, every host's worst nightmare are guests who would not respect us, our abodes and the things in it.
As your host, I Am easy to deal with. As far as I can afford and handle, I want my guests to be happy and comfortable. I only like mutual respect, transparency, honesty and cleanliness.
