Kathryn's place was perfect for our needs. I was in the area for a Channel Swim attempt so I was looking for a comfortable place for 3 people for about a week. The bungalow is within walkin distance to the English Channel (right where Captain Webb started his swim actually). Free internet at the Reception/Restaurant area and close to Dover and the Dover Castle. Kathryn was very responsive to questions and went out of her way to help us out. Great place to stay if you plan on being in the area for awhile.

We found it very exciting meeting you all and tracking your swim. Hope you come back and have another go. Kathryn and John.

If you love walking through the country side and exploring the white cliffs of Dover this is the perfect place to explore them from ,we enjoyed the walk along the cliffs up to the light house, plenty of restaurants with good food all within a short distance,we hopefully will go back again,we couldn't have asked for a better place

Response from Kathryn:
I am very disappointed that you marked us down due to 1 cobweb and a tiny bit of dust on a light shade.

Great bungalow. 10 mins away from Dover Port. Open plan lounge/diner/kitchen. Very comfy lounge chairs. Small TV with limited freeview channels. Well equipped kitchen with fridge, oven and powerful microwave. Full bathroom with shower and heated toilet rail. Comfy beds - would say medium firm mattress. Bedding provided but not towels. Heating throughout. Great site with very clean indoor pool and spa, onsite restaurant and small shop. Please be aware the bungalow does not have free wifi unless you are a BT account holder. If not then access is chargeable and not cheap. Free wifi is available in the site clubhouse. We found 3/4g signal manageable. Very responsive host and flexible check in, very useful. All in all and excellent choice for a holiday stay or business stay if you don't need wifi in the accomodation.

Response from Kathryn:
I ticked the box which said wifi as there is wifi. However it is not ticked now. As I have said in my description there is wifi from BTfon and hotspots. Also in the bar.

We booked this bungalow over Christmas and it was well equipped, cozy, warm and spacious. Kathryn has even made it christmassy with a tree, card, crackers, mince pies, a bottle of wine etc. Plus there was everything you need for a breakfast in the fridge. There are 2 good sized bedrooms with wardrobes, and the front room has a dining area and kitchen in an open plan layout, which is big enough for 5 people to eat / sit. It was pretty cold outside but the electrical fire in the sitting area warms up the place very quickly. There's parking outside right in front of the bungalow. Communication and booking process was very good and everything went smooth, I can highly recommend this place.

Hello, I was a mathematics teacher for 38 ..yes 38 years. I am now retired and have bought 2 holiday bungalows at St Margaret's holiday park because my husband I love it there so much. We use one for ourselves and our grand daughters who love the swimming pool and one bungalow to rent out.We know the area really well as I have lived in Dover for 29 years then Canterbury for 2,near the Cathedral. We like to go to St George's church in Deal and our grand daughters love to come with us. We love pantomime and have many to see around the area.We love the Marlowe theatre and this year we were privileged to see Dame Joan Colllins among other shows. We love the Beretun restaurant at Canterbury College and take advantage of the hairdressing and the Spa. We have a tastecard and enjoy many 2 for 1 meals locally. We also love the beaches in Thanet and the shopping in Westwood Cross, Canterbury and Ashford. We also love the cinema and are spoilt for choice.
